ok so his birthday is around the corner, and i haven't seen many threads on it yet (sorry if there are existing ones, and i missed 'em). anyway, your birthday messages and dedications go here. it might seem pointless as he's not going to see them, but it feels strange to not do anything on the day the world was blessed with one of the most talented footballers on the planet.

so i'm just gonna put down my thoughts randomly here.
this might seem like a strange analogy, but i feel like a mother watching her kid growing up
i remember his 19th birthday like it were yesterday. i remember what he looked like back then and how everything about him has matured and become more polished over the years. i would be guiding his on-field and off-field activities in my mind and hoping that he'd make the right decisions because the thought of a talent like him going to waste was just too painful. thankfully, he did make some right decisions (along with a couple of wrong ones that we're aware of
) and he is where he is today.
cristiano has given me so much more than entertainment. his 23 year old story, his early struggles, his determination, his hardwork all serve as an inspiration for whoever plans to follow his/her dream. cristiano ronaldo has given me the courage to dream and believe that if i work towards something relentlessly, i will achieve it. for all his flaws and weaknesses, cristiano remains a model, an inspiration and a shining example.
