America's Best Dance Crew

America's Best Dance Crew
On Mtv Thursday Nights 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
-The Top Selected Dancing Crews from across America compete to be titled "America's Best Dance Crew". Each week, one team is eliminated.
I'll admit
1) I don't like watching Mtv/Mtv based shows
2) I don't like competing shows now-a-days

BUT....
America's Best Dance Crew really captures my attention because the dancing is amazing to watch. I'll list the teams that have made it thus far. But the judges first:

JC Chasez-
Former NSYNC bandmember (whom I used to deem gay just because I had nothing to incriminate him with, but all along secretly we all knew it was Lance, but what the hell am I talking about? This isn't a BSB vs NSYNC thread, so forget what I was talking about)
Anyway, a lot of fans of the show don't seem to like JC, stating that he is "trying too hard to be like Simon from 'American Idol'". However, I've always thought JC was the most talented NSYNC member. He's a great dancer and he has worked with probably some of the best choreographers in the industry. Most times I agree with his opinions on the dance crews. People give him too much heat. I like JC. And this is coming from a hardcore BSB fan who used to hiss at the sight of anything NSYNC.

Shane Sparks- the judge with the most credibility to be on the show, Shane is a choreographer with a pretty impressive resume
However, I think his judging skills are a little lackluster. In the past couple of weeks, he's become better at critiquing some crews, so I'll give him that.

Lil Mama- from what people tell me, she's a hip hop star or something or other. I don't know much about her to be honest. I guess I can credit her as a muscian since Kaba Modern did do a dance that was her song. But still.....she doesn't have much credibility to be a judge on the show.....
I really don't like her judging. First, all she ever does is say that she loves a crew or that they did well, and if she doesn't like it (and it's only because JC or Shane has already pointed something out to us all) she'll just say "You need to do better. Y'all gotta bring it." Ulgh, I really don't understand why she was even considered to be a judge.

BreakSk8- they're all really cute  ::lol:: but I don't really like them that much. They were entertaining the first time around but by the second or third time I was a bit tired of them. I still can't believe they've never been in the bottom two.
Most recent performance:

Fysh N Chicks- they are a pretty good group I must say. They have a lot of love and trust in each other, but they are rather sloppy in some performances. They aren't a favorite crew of mine however. Their last performance really impressed me, and I love how they don't wear skimpy clothes or do whore-ish dancing moves to get attention. I really respect them for that.
One of their earlier performances (sorry I couldn't find a decent video if their latest perfornance, which is a shame because that was their best with the tap dancing and all):

JabbaWockeeZ- I've made it no secret that they're my favorite dance crew ::lol:: and with good reason. They've peformed so well week to week, and I love how they can still entertain and impress without having to give up their induviduality and style. That and a few of the guys are really cute. ::lol:: I love their masks and the meaning behind it. However, I agreed with JC when he said their last performance wasn't too impressive. I don't know. It wasn't that memorable, but I still want them to win!
Most recent performance:

Kaba Modern - They're a great crew with their really super precise dancing. It just irritates me that a lot of their fanbase is based off the fact that they are an all Asian group and/or one of their dancers is is really hot (I don't know her name ::lol::). I think of all the crews still remaining they've been the best crew to dance spot on every time. My only pickle with them was when they were doing the dance crazes and they had to do a challege as well. Like JC and Shane said, the one flip wasn't that impressive. When they are told to do a challege they have to really do it to the max and point it out to us, make us remember what the challege was. But overall, I like them a lot.
Most recent Performance:

Status Quo- definitely one really strong dancing crew. Aside from the MC Hammer dance they've performed of the wall performances back to back. I don't have much to say.....they're just really good and I love their spunk and really good energy. It's just a bit unfortunate that they don't have as many hardcore fans as say Kaba or Jabba...
Most recent performance:

Teams that have been eliminated (I will try to keep this as updated as much as I can):

Live in Color- I was shocked to know that they were in the bottom two! Throughout the whole competition they had been strong and they had some really strong followers. Some people say that the show is rigged and LiC got booted because of something with sorority girls who claimed stuff. I don't know much on it. LiC should be proud though that they left on a high note. They were definitely the team with the most personality and most energy.
Last performance:

Iconic- this was one of my favorite crews. They were always top notch dancers and really brung it. They just took time really be noticed. Too bad that it was too late when they went up against Status Quo. They really would have shown everybody what they were made of if they could have left later.
Last performance (hope you don't mind watching Status Quo before them):

Femme 5 - I was never a fan of theirs. To be completely honest I didn't really understand how they beat some of the other crews to be on top. At least their last performance was really good.
Last performance (there was more but I can't find any better vids than this one):

Enigma Dance Crew- I just feel bad that they were voted off because their dancing leader was a drama queen and kicked off their second leader because of her boyfriend or something like that. Oh wellz.
Their audition dance (sorry but it's so hard to find good videos and videos I want from earlier crews):

I've never heard of it.  But I love watching dance shows though, I wish we had more shows like that here.  What sort of dances do they do?  I'm a bit nit-picky when it comes to group dances; they have to be really precise and well rehearsed or it'll just irritate me.  Some of the names they chose for their crews made me laugh though. :D

yeahhh some of the group names are pretty out there ::lol:: but it's really entertaining to watch.

Pretty much it's just hip hop dancing, but different kinds, like bboys and popping and isolations....I dunno, I'm not that knowledgable with dancing. It's like "You Got Served" without the lame plot and cheesey acting. But some of the dancing is really different.

Don't worry Jade, I'm sure it'll just be a matter of time before they come up with "England's Best Dance Crew".

I effin love the show and Kabba is by far my fave!! Jabba is off the hook, too. I love how Kabba does the sickest isolations and Yuri (the one everyone thinks is the hottest one) is too cute and she can breakdance.

I loved the MJ moves that all the groups did. Again, Kabba and Jabba did the best!!

I think the performances this week were a little drab. They really didn't bring MJ dancing to the next level, despite what they and the judges said. I will give credit to Jabba though. They were, I believe, the only crew that was able to keep their style yet also pay good homage to Michael Jackson. Breaksk8 really did an amazing performance this week. XD It was pretty cool. People didn't really like Fysh N Chicks' performance but I thought it was really good, actually. I though Kaba Modern's dance was good but not spectacular. I preferred their previous performance over this one. Status Quo did seem rather sloppy but I still like them a lot. XD

I honestly like all the groups but to me Jabbawockeez and Kaba modern really catches my eye. I just love their moves and everything. But Kaba modern could have pulled off a better flip than what they did. Honestly i want either one of these teams to win and the skating group ain't bad either. To me some moves are harder to them since their on skates LoL

I know this is kinda late, but, JABBAWOCKEEZ WON!!!!!! ::lol::

Ohmygah!!! Cris Gatdula from the jabbawockeez was raised in hawaii. Wtf?!?!? His sister looks verrrrrry familiar. He moved to Las Vegas in '93. But I know that I've seen his sister somewhere. Now this is going to bug me 'cause I'm gonna rack my brain to see where I might have seen her. ::lol::

::lol:: Thanks for the udate Pua. ::lol::

Though it was surrounded with controversy about the final two teams, I'm glad Jabba won.

Maybe you saw her at uni? If you ever find out you can stalk her, become her friend, and then meet Cris and conebone him.

that you and Cris are going to marry. You seem to have a lot in common.
