Martin Skrtel is a slovakian he plays for LIVERPOOL......he's a Defender
Although I'm not a liverpool fan....i don't know why but i think Martin Skrtel is really nice...there's just something about him that makes him look good despite him not being that good looking compared to other footie players! - .....he always reminds me of victor valdes despite not looking like him...maybe it's the bald head!

but unfortunately i heard he's got a girlfriend........like that matters anyways!....just thought i'd start his thread!

Ahahaha. Skrtel is awesome! He's had a couple of not so great games which the media loves to talk endlessly about (Havant & Waterlooville, Man U), but he's been solid in the rest of the games. He was 2007 Slovak Footballer of the Year, while our other center back who is 3 days older than Skrtel, Daniel Agger (who, like Skrtel, has a lot of tattoos as well. ), was 2007 Danish Footballer of the Year. Pretty cool statistic, no? Skrtel also plays hockey, or he used to, he's had to give that up since during winter he's playing football.

He looks ridiculously scary/bad ass (whichever you prefer) when he's bald. He's much better with long hair. The Zenit site used to have a lot of photos of him.

I was pretty shocked to hear that he moved to Liverpool from Zenit. While he played here he was kinda average defender but well Im appy that now hes in such a big club

I used to see him in some store couple of times while he played in Petersburg. damn who knew that he would get so famous? i would take a pic with him

Ahaha yeah especially since Zenit are now in the Semis in the UEFA Cup. Arshavin has been one of the names that have been mentioned a lot lately. My uncle lived in Saint Petersburg for 10 years and now I regret not asking him to get me something.

seriosuly this guy is just unbelievably annoying! ok, maybe he is talented but seriously such a show off sometimes + dumbass. Im still sad that Kerzhakov ended up leaving Sevilla $:-\$ I hoped that he could show smthg there...

Every team has a media darling. He's getting on a bit, but though so his 15 minutes may be up soon. Unfortunately for Kerzhakov, as well as Chevanton and Kone, Kanoute and Luis Fabiano are both on fire. It's great for Sevilla, but not so good for the other strikers.

Good thing I haven't read any interview of his interviews. There's enough BS in the Premier League and La Liga as is and I don't know if I can handle any more. Barcelona? Seriously? Ahahahaha. Keep dreaming, mate.

Poor guy. He hasn't returned to much of a hero's welcome. I don't know much about the Russian League so I don't know much about his situation.

OMG thanks alot for the pictures.....he seem's quiet but obviously he looks a bit cheeky in that pic!.....yeh i didn't really notice he had tattoos untill last week's match against arsenal!........has anyone got any more pics and any personal info on him?
