She can look amazing even with a paper bag over her head. I don't have her confidence I'm afraid. I love experimenting with colours and styles, but I tend to stick to similar types of figures when it comes to dresses, haha.

no I totally understand, I was always self conscious because I played soccer since I was like 8 so I had really big thighs that would stick out in the front but now I've slimmed down more so I'm more confident.  Plus my best friend is like a stick so she forces me to try on things that show my curves because she wants them   my problem is that I'm short, i JUST bought a pair of skinny jeans this past fall because I always thought the stunted me even more (I'm only 5'2" and my height comes from my torso haha)

I'm short as well! I haven't measured myself in ages though. Last time I did I was about 165 cm...not sure what that equals in inches, but I haven't grown any taller, so I'd imagine I'm still the same haha.

And my best friend is really thin too, except she's also very tall and blonde. Bloody Russians. It's terrible walking down the street with her. She's the gorgeous model (literally, urgh!) and I'm the short dark best friend.

Now I need some advice. My birthday is coming up and my friend is going to buy me a pair of sparkly beige shoes to wear when we go out - they're really, really glittery and shiny, I'm totally in love! But I have no clue what to actually wear with them. I've seen some great black dresses but I don't want to wear black on my birthday. And I don't look too great in white, not to mention it's winter and I have absolutely no tan, so that's out of the question. Any suggestions?

Hahaha. It is true though!! She's all milky skin and blonde hair and I'm like...brown next to her, especially in summer, with almost black hair. Oh and I just reach the top of her chin! Haha. I wish height implants existed.
