I love Joao! (Even if he does play for Sporting) People call Ronaldo & Torres their Nino's...this one is mine!

Only 21 and already the captain of his team. Such a lovely guy as well. hes just so sweet and everything.
And well all this stuff about him leaving Sporting....i can't see him leaving just yet. Everything seems to be going so well for him right now...captain of his team, had a good season and then getting called up for Portugal.
So many people said all sorts about him bieng called up and wasnt happy..I on the other hand was over the moon. I didnt expect him to start but when i saw him on the team sheet i was so happy for him and he had a fantastic game and set up a goal but then after that he did go quiet. But..hes brilliant and such a promising star and im so jealous he plays for Sporting and not my Porto. If he moves now it'll be too soon for him IMO...give it a few more seasons. Plus i enjoy watching him every week so if he leaves now i'll be so gutted and well...im not even a Sporting fan!

And he is married

, got married around a year ago. Childhood sweethearts and all that. They are cute together though. Him and Ana
