Eyes Wide Shut Update - 13th January 2011

If you didn?t already know JLS have a new single due for release on the 13th of February (CD out 14/3/11). If you seriously didn?t know? Where have you been? !

It?s only been 6 days since your boys released their new video of ?Eyes Wide Shut Ft. Tinie Tempah? it has already amassed well over 560,000 views on YouTube! Thanks to all of you, their lovely and loyal fans!

It has so far had a great response and seems to be a hit with everybody, not just you guys! The response in the press has been awesome and critics (MTV, 4Music, Heatworld) all seem to agree that JLS with the added lyrical skills of Mr Tempah are on to a winner with this one!

In such a short space of time the new single has already been added to various top playlists on all major radio stations. Capital FM have it on their A list and Radio 1 have added it straight on to their B list!

The album version without Tinie is already at number 6 in the itunes chart, 4 weeks before the single is due to be released!

Seems like the single will cause an earthquake when it finally drops!!! Please keep supporting the boys and let?s make sure the single goes straight in at number 1 when it?s released! If you can?t wait until it?s released PRE ORDER the CD single NOW! It comes with a FREE shiny poster of the handsome guys for your bedroom walls! So what are you waiting for???

My favourite song to sing is ?That?s my girl? or the cover we do ?somebody to love?


What has been your favourite memory from the tour?

My favourite memory from the tour has to be filming our 3D movie it?s looks crazy and what makes it (because we?ve seen a snippet of it ; p) is you all going crazy and sing along it actually looks like we can hold your hands!


Whats your Favourite costume?

Favourite costume has to be the coloured hoodies because it?s taking it right back to where we all started  us singing acappella and in our colours!
 

Whats your favourite dance routine?

My favourite dance routine is either ?Eyes wide shut? or the Boy band medley we do! I love it!


If you could go back to one night from the tour which would it be?

I?d go back to he very veeeeery 1st night so we could do the whole tour all over again!

What is your favourite song to sing on Tour?



Favourite song to sing on tour has to be ?Eyes Wide Shut?, even before
 we announced it as being the next single, the reaction from the
 audience was incredible, already everybody was singing the words and 
the routine to song is always amazing to perform. Also Tinie Tempah 
makes a special appearance and it gives a moment in the show like no 
other song, especially as it is our only collaboration of the night.


What has been your favourite memory from the tour?



Favourite memory of the tour has to be the first ever time we got to 
perform at the O2 arena, there is no feeling like it, driving up to 
the arena in the morning and the lights saying ?jls performing live?
 was a dream I?ve had since i can remember, and now it was reality.



What is your Favourite costume?


My favourite costume on tour without a doubt has to be the tailored
look in the ?haunted house section?, I love it because I feel a
 certain swagger when I come out in the top hat tilted to the side, the 
long tailed coat combined with a shirt and [apples] trainers, I jus think 
the combo is Sikk.



What is your favourite dance routine?



My fave dance routine is the one we do on ?superhero?. I?ve developed 
a strong passion for hip hop dance style, a lot like what your 
usher?s, Chris brown?s, Justin?s perform and that?s probably the most
 hiphop routine we perform out of all of them, I jus wear my new era 
hat low and get in the zone.



If you could go back to one night from the tour which would it be?



If I could go back to one night of the tour it would be the night of 
my birthday, I had a 12 hour party on the tour bus and it was 
unbelievable, definitely an experience and a birthday i will never 
forget, too much fun haha!


Not forgetting you still have Cardiff, Newcastle, Sheffield and 
Liverpool this week - do you have a special message for them before 
you get there?



Special message to all of our beautiful JLS fans in the approaching

Ok so the tour has come to an end, and I can?t lie to you I?m already missing it. Performing, for me, is one of the best parts of all this, the feeling I get when I?m on stage, I dont think theres anything that can really compare. We went to so many cities all around the U.K. and saw so many of your beautiful faces, and for all the support you have show me and the boys I want to say ?Thank YOU?!
 
I also wanna let you know that all the fanmail we received, cards, letters, teddies, presies, absolutely everything we keep and read! One of the most memorable things I received was a bracelet saying ?Oritse Williams- You are an Inspiration?. I for sure will treasure that and the big picture book I received from the JLS forum, I?ve got that displayed at home.
 
I also wanna say THANK YOU again to you guys for the support you have shown us on the new single ?Eyes Wide Shut? , it?s doing incredibly well and that?s all down to every single one of you making that happen, we just want to keep making music you love.

Ok ok ok hold up a second!! It seems like only the other day since we were on tour and since then we?ve had astons birthday, released eyes wide shut feat. Tinie tempah, stopped in to see alan carr, woken up at the crack of dawn to check in on everybody at daybreak and this morning and even challenged vernon kay to triathlon events!!!

On that note, can we just make it clear that i didnt disgrace myself as people seem intent to highlight! hahahaha he cycled 4metres more than me AND i was giving him a chance!!its bad enough that he lost ahahahaah!

Anyway we been busy boys as u can see cos u know how much we love to give you guys as much new material as we possibly can amd i wana send out a huge shoutout to all of u guys who have trekked all over london whilst we?ve been promoting because we cant always stop and you all remain so patient?we love you!

Oh i almost forgot! Who heard us on capital and radio1 today?! Had too much fun with johnny and lisa and it was chris moyles bday so we sang him happy birthday!!! Bless him! He?s the same age as me now and his party was wicked in case u didnt gett 2hear us this morning!!bumped into cee-lo green and got a photo with sooty and sweep!ha! Who remembers those guys?!

Anyway iv been chatting on and i really should get back to work?dont tell the boys i took time out to speak 2u guys without telling them! Our secret yeh?!

What?s good?  whats really good!?  what?s really really good!!!

Jeeeeeeez, feels like we?ve been hiding away in some dark cave somewhere writing songs for like a century hahah.

We really do miss every single one of you like crazy, and can?t wait to bring the sunshine home and release new music for you to get down to in the summer time.

I know it seems like we keep on teasing you saying how excited we are for you to hear the new material, but it?s for real, you guys are gonna really enjoy it. Sometimes I wish you were in the studio with us while we?re creating it.

Since we?ve been out here we haven?t had much time to do anything else, however I decided to get up extra early one morning and take a trip down to Santa Monica beach, which was unbelievable!! i rented a bike and jus went around the whole beach at Lewis Hamilton speed exploring haha, was fun actually.

Then the day before that I went down the Hollywood Walk of fame and I even went to see the Hollywood sign in the mountains which was pretty amazing considering i?ve only seen it on `TV and films before and not in real life.

By the way I know Marvin has been tweeting about my addiction out here to Pink Berry frozen yoghurt, I don?t know what it is about it lol, jus all the flavours in your mouth creates a Winning fruity combination, it?s jus tooo good, u have to try it guys.

I cant wait to see you all again, it wont be long.

I think summer is officially here! How nice of myself and Marv to bring the sun back in our cases with us  We burnt all our clothes in the process so now we have nothing to wear!!!!

Actually Jaybes and Reesh could bring us some back from NY?!! Perfect!!

Anyway how are you - all good?! The trips have been amazing I?ll have you know? And we have got some new songs for youuuuuuu  so don?t think we were just sitting in that sun whilst away! We were working very hard ; p

So what?s everyone got planned for summer?! Maaaybe a JLS summer tooooour! I can?t wait to get back out on the road with all the boys, the dancers, the back stage crew and most of all YOU! I can?t wait to see you all right up close and having fun in the summer sun!! Maybe we?ll have a new song out by then.. Hmmm who knows ; p haha
