The video debuted on GMTV today. Ben shephard is quoted as saying Alexandra is the best voice he's ever heard.

Every time I hear her sing I get tears :-( she is just so magnificent.

watched her version of hallelujah. I have no intention to outrage but i think she is like the second leona. she sounds like her too imo

I wouldn't say Alex is better than leona. you're comparing 2 plus years of experience to someone whose career just started this weekend

Alex has sold just under 150,000 copies on downloads alone. Rumours have it she is poised to break shane ward's record debut single sales of 742,000 in his first week.

Alex and Leona sound nothing alike! 

I have to say I HATE her version of Hallelujah.  She's ruined a very beautiful, peaceful song- it's not supposed to sound like it's being sung in a gospel.  Grrr!

I'm applying to be a mod on her official board but I don't have a clue about moderator. There are a lot of haters on her official board its crazy. Gospel choirs make everything sound so warm. Jeff's version is raw. Alex's version is pretty and appealing. I can dig that

It's supposed to be raw.  I hate it when she does the whole Christiana thing of making her voice go up and down.  It's a soft song, Alex, not a power ballad! Sheesh.

I agree completley. She has a really good voice, but she's twisted the meaning of the song.
I even prefer Cohen's verison (I know he wrote it, but its bloody awful)

Too be honest i dont think she'll make it that big; dont get me wrong i think she's a good singer and all, but she will have a lot to compete with

JLS on the other hand may work, theres not anothe boy band like them around, plus they already have a huge fanbase (mainly fan-girls)

gosh her voice is amazing, you just have to fall in love with it 
I just wish we would have such talented singers over here in germany. all we get in our casting shows are stupid lil boys and girls
