Nu speel sinds een half jaar bij FC Twente.?

Elia: ?Als we zondags om 14.30 uur moeten spelen dan hebben wij vooraf een bespreking bij van der Valk of bij de Broeierd. Als we een uitwedstrijd ver weg hebben dan overnachten we soms in een hotel in de buurt.?
Arnautovic: ?Vooraf aan een wedstrijd eten we gezamenlijk een sportmaaltijd. Na het eten volgt een bespreking met de spelers en trainer. Daarna gaan we op ons gemak naar het stadion. Daar gaan we dan relaxen in het spelershome.?

?Nee, voor scheten laten krijgen we geen boete. Als we op een training bijvoorbeeld een sok vergeten moeten wij hiervoor een paar euro betalen. Als tijdens een wedstrijd de telefoon afgaat van iemand moet diegene een hogere boete betalen. Het geld gaat dan in een spelerspotje en daarvan gaan we bijvoorbeeld uit eten of 3 dagen naar Spanje. Elia: We train almost every day. Sometimes we train two times per day. Usually we are 1 day in the week free? You have to train alot or you'll go down hill.

Tv Aangezien ik digitale televisie heb,kan ik alle sportkanalen ontvangen. Ik kijk veel naar voetbal,maar praatprogramma's laat ik aan me voorbijgaan.
Auto Ik heb nog geen rijbewijs,maar ben al wel druk aan het lessen. De thearie is voor mij nog een beetje lastig. Toch denk ik het met een maandje of twee te halen.
Stadion Onze eigen Grolisch Veste komt op één. We hebben fantastische supporters en de sfeer is goed. Daarna komen De Arena, De Kuip en het Phillips Stadion.
Hoogtepunt Mijn debuut in het eerste elftal van FCT. tegen PSV (2-0 verlies,red) op 14 april 2007. En natuurlijk mijn eerste officiële doelpunt, op 18 oktober 2008 tegen Almelo (2-0 winst,red)
Dag ruilen met... Niemand, het leven dat ik nu heb bevalt me prima.
Sterke/zwakke punten Ik ben snel, sterk en scoor vrij makkelijk. Het koppen en meeverdedigen kunnen nog beter.
Onderschatte voetballer Edson Braafheid, onze linkerverdediger. Ik ken in de Eredivisie eigenlijk geen linksback met een betere techniek.
Lastigste tegenstander Met FCT speelden we onlangs voor de EUFA Cup tegen Schalke 04 (2-1 zege,red) Die avond ston ik tegen Heiko Westermann, een goede en complete verdediger.
Ambitie Ik wil naar de top, naar de clubs als Barcelona, Real Madrid,Manchester United of Arsenal. Daar ga ik hard voor werken.
Tweede Seizoenshelft Zoals het er nu naar uitziet, gaan AZ en Ajax het uitvechten wie kampioen wordt. PSV is dit seizoen beduidend minder. Voor FCT is de titel niet aan de orde,maar we goren in elk geval bij de eerste vijf. Ontzettend jammer dat Robbie Wieleart weg is, we gaan hem missen. Aan de andere kant gunnen wij als spelers hem de overgang naar Ajax,dat heeft hij echt verdiend. De club heeft met Peter Wisgerhof van NEC direct een vervanger gehaald. Hij is hier nog maar kort,dus ik kan niet zgegen of hij net zo goed is als Robbie. Maar van verschillende kanten hoor ik dat Peter een goede en sterke verdediger is.

Underestimated footballer Edson Braafheid, our left defender. I know in England no linksback with a better technique.

"Yeah, they say so, but I don't think I need it."

Tom: So you're not difficult to handle? Are you sloppy? You must be late all the time?

"Yeah I used to be a difficult kid before, but I've learnt from it. Trainer Ruud(?) and Trainer Tenaar(?) have helped me alot."

Tom: Why were you a difficult boy? Can you name a reason?

"Yeah, I was just a boy from Vienna, it's a big city, back in the day there were a few problems, never learnt form them, my disipline wasn't good. And I wasn't completely changed when I came to Holland, but then all of a sudden, it felt like I had a little slap to wake me up and I just changed."    lolol Marko, it's called growing up, becoming a man and leaving puberty behind you

Tom: Well, Enschede is a bit of a boring city now isn't it?

"Yeah, well, yeah, okay, (laughs) well..."

Tom: Well it sure isn't Vienna.

"(Laughs)Yeah, well, it isn't a boring city, just very quiet and peacefull."

Tom: But on the pitch you can, you know.

"Yeah, yeah ofcourse on the pitch, but off the pitch you know. When you're young, you're going to do stuff that's in your progress. Then you become more and more known."
