I love his music!

I believe he suffered a lot throughout his life, so I hope he's at peace now.

I still can't really believe this. It's such a shock. What a loss this is.
It's so sad. My mum used to be a great fan of him, and she always made me listen to his music. Michael was a genius, a legend and will be missed.

I thought a coroner had already confirmed it was cardiac arrest?

That's what they believe, but his brother said during the press conference that they're doing an autopsy to be sure of the cause of death.

I'm sure I'm one of a handful of people on this forum who are old enough to remember Michael Jackson when he first hit his prime with Thriller, etc. All of us danced to his music and I still have some on my iPod...including the Thriller video!
It is sad that his lifestyle outside of his music was the news towards the end of his life. The denials about plastic surgery on his face (as a physician...he DID have surgery) to the bizarre quotes about children that ultimately lead to his court appearances.
With that said, his music was captivating and his concert (which I saw live in Denver) was amazing. He is a prime example of someone who had it all but ended up with nothing more than the memories of his greatness.
He is 100s of millions of dollars in debt and is still being sued by so many people.
My hats off to someone that I loved listening to but never quite understood.

my mum has loved him since his jackson 5 days, me i loved him since childhood love his music and remember a time when all i used to hear was his music came out i would listen to his albums over and over, only a true music artist can make u do that! his music from early 90's seem like the soundtrack of my early childhood. am in total shock over his passing and its not hit me yet. such a shame that some ppl will only ever know him for the bad things that happened in his personal life. to me there's no one else like him and laugh when ppl try to imitate his dance and music! rest in peace now michael those media B******* touch you anymore! xx

I hope he finds peace now that he is gone. he will continue to live through his music. he had a huge impact on the whole music industry, he is gone now but he'll never be forgotten. RIP michael, wherever you are now. hopefully at a better place.
