If you apply eyeliner just under the ridge of your bottom lid, where your lashes start, and then go over it normally it makes your eyes look larger. I have small eyes and this works for me.

^^  hi, I'm from Belgium

Price doesn't really matter, I'm someone who's willing to pay more if the product is worth it.
I need something that covers very well, because when it's cold my skin turns into a very nice red  :-\ like I just had the most embarrassing moment in my life lol

tnx for the colour advise, I already knew I shouldn't use blue because when I was younger my stepmother told me to use blue mascara and blue eyeliner to go to a wedding and it looked absolutely horrible  :-[

I LOVE Nude by Nature mineral foundation. It's sooooo good; it feels really light and has great coverage.

I never, ever wear lipgloss.  I just hate it, I don't like having anything on my lips apart from nude/pale lipstick when I'm going out.  And I've finally made the shift from pressed foundation to liqiud. :-\  Well, I have a Maybelline foundation which is kind of a mix between the two.

Oh, and I have a question. Does anyone else use cream blush? Like lotion-ish but its blush?! I don't know how else to say it! ::lol::

Yeah, I can't use liquid foundation either, it just makes my face look cakey and packed. I like to look natural.

Do you me like liquid blusher? that sort of thing
I use liquid blusher etc , i use high beam from benefit it gives a great glow and has a shimmery affect i think that's the word
I also use poise tint from benefit over it which is a pink liquid blusher
i think it gives a much fresher appearance and finish than just powder blusher, i also do use powder blusher - tweed affect Chanel.

Yeah, I'm thinking of buying that because I feel like the liquid blush would look a lot more natural than powder blush. I use liquid bronzer and I absolutely love it. ;D

benefit lip and cheek tint is a good buy then. it lasts for ages and looks really natural. you can even use it on ur lips and it [shouldnt] dry them out.
it makes you look like youve just been running so its lovely and oh so natural
if you go to superdrug (i dont know if you can get that?) then MEMEME do a much cheaper version

Steph, why dont you try MAC? or bobbi brown? theyre great brands that have a huge range of foundations in powder, liquid and even minerals. and their colour ranges and coverages are brilliant. especially because it means you get a better match because youre sure to find one thats perfect for you. (haha i sound like i work for them!)
but also, if you tend to tan more in summer then its best to get a foundation for summer and one for winter. because your skin tone changes so theres no reason why you should stick to the same winter foundation when the rest of your body gets darker.

im a complete beauty fiend. haha i apologise

I usually don't wear makeup, except on weekends or days when I go out to do things.  My skin is rather sensitive so I don't think I need makeup on everyday. That and I'm still a bit "newbish" with foundation. ::lol:: I've always found it damn difficult to find a color that suits my skin tone. It's always too light or too dark. In a bit, when I have more money, I plan to go to Sephora and ask the sales clerks to help me out with finding the right brand and color. I like Sephora because the one I go to they don't always want to sell you something since they sell all kinds of brands. They generally seem to want to help you out.

Today, in honor of Iron Man 2, I did my eye makeup inspired by Iron Man's suit. I had red and gold as my eyeshadow. I recently bought Coastal Scents' 88 Makeup Palette in matte and I'm having so much fun with it. XD

I also recently purchased  Shu Uemura's Eyelash Curler and I am IN LOVE. I've always had difficulty with curling my eyelashes and all the eyelash curlers I'd buy (Revlon, Maybelinne, Cover Girl) always pinched my skin, and when I was able to curl my lashes without it pinching my skin, I'd be unable to curl it well. Shu Uemura's is designed really well. I don't have to feel like I'm curling it as close to the root as possible to get a good curl on my lashes. I also don't have to tirelessly do that crimping technique that I suck at. When I crimp I tend to crush my eyelashes more than curl them. ::lol::

OH! And I bought a black gel liner from Coastal Scents, but I have to purchase an angled brush before trying it out.

And on the eyeliner business, with fairer skin black eyeliner on the lower lids make your eyes look smaller, so you should go for a brown eyeliner instead. Also, lining the waterline on your bottom lids with white eyeliner gives off the illusion of bigger eyes. Just don't line outside the waterline or you'll look like a clown.

I've been trying to find a good mascara for ages. I have really short lashes and I've tried so many different brands to get a really good volume and length boost. I've got a Maybelline one now that's pretty good but it gets clumpy. Grrr!

Oh, I rarely leave the house without makeup on. ::lol:: At the very least I always wear a bit of powder foundation or bronzer and some mascara. And lately I never go anywhere without eyeliner on my top lid.

As for foundation, I have two; a darker one for summer because I go really tan and one for winter which is just a shade darker than my normal skin tone, to give a healthy glow cause I look really sickly in winter lol. I usually use liquid foundation (but Nude by Nature mineral foundation is one of my faves!) and top it off with a powder bronzer, but sometimes I just use the bronzer cause it's much quicker to apply and feels lighter.

I don't think I have very long lashes either, Lia. I bought a Smashbox mascara a month or so back and I think it works just like my regular Rimmel brand. :( So it sucks that I spent $20 on Smashbox when it works just like my $4 mascara. ::lol:: I heard that Cover Girls Lash Blast mascara works really well. The only down part to it is that the wand sucks so you should keep the wand of an old mascara and use that instead. I can't recall which of the more expensive mascara brands work better...but you should do your homework before blowing $20. :'(

I used to hate leaving the house without makeup, but as I've grown older I've learned to not care as much. ::lol:: No one to impress.

My best friend was telling me that finishing powder is vital to foundation, so I have to get me some of that when I go buy new foundation.
