@Isa1707 - I see your point, but that's exactly how his character is going to develop he's done things wrong, gone about things completely the wrong way, when he manages to get himself back around he's going to be more complete; it's all about character progression :) This will show to Elena that Stefan is not the perfect do-gooder she thinks he is/used to think he was, but ultimately he is a good person willing to do anything for those he loves. From then she will decide to either 1) Stick by him, making them stronger than ever, and that's why, it's going to feel even better for people like me who are Stelana shippers   OR b)walk away. Both are very plausible.

I agree, some things have been based very, very loosely on the books, which is why I like to speculate on it. Obviously I know they're ultimately two different things but I'd like them to follow certain things from it. Yeah I don't like Matt/Elena as a romantic pairing but I like how he reminds her that she still has something normal still in her life. He's kind of like her escape, her only human link left.

What you said is like music to my ears, I love Caroline and hope she's there till the end. Rebekah on the other hand, I can't stand and I don't know why either.

^ Thats Stefan's character progression I guess... but I still find it difficult Elena and Stefan can just get back together. I dont know. I guess its just the trust thing. At this point, Elena doesnt trust Stefan. She knows what happened with Klaus and Damon, what would have happened if Michael killed Klaus; and although Stefan did save Damon, he was very well willing to risk her. So when I see it, I see Stefan protecting Damon... not Elena. He loves her, yes; he wants her safe, yes; but he's actions are ultimately protecting Damon. Only Trying to get Klaus away from Mystic Falls is protecting Elena, and the way to prove that is to threaten him with what matters to him (family, hybrids, Elena's blood supply)... Its like Stefan is doing things to protect Elena, but he is crossing the line between the Knight in Shinning Armor; and just a form of Villain.

^ I'm wondering if she is just a really powerful witch... Or a hybrid witch/vampire (which breaks all the witchy laws they talked about before)... Or simply something else

I guess, and I'm the same with Damon I don't see how she can just get with Damon either. I see they have a very strong bond, but I'm not sure Elena loves him, I dunno, she so young she's only 17 she's till trying to figure out her feelings...like she said before she not even sure if she knows what love is.  She could just be confusing her feelings for Damon as love, I meana after everything he's done for it it would be impossible to not have some warm feelings towards him.. :noidea: I'm just giving my idea on it..I could be wrong (probably am but ahh well)

I found an article on Ian Somerhalder giving his 2 cents on the whole love triangle if anyone wants me to post it?

The same questions is on my mind.

I'm thinking a powerful witch is what I'm leaning towards, but I could be wrong too. lolx

So I must confess, I became a little light hearted and smitten when Klaus just came out with, "I fancy you." :-[

lolx He must be in "lurrrv".

So I enjoyed yesterday's episode, going to rewatch it because ever since I got that HDMI cable for my Xbox 360 my TV has been acting awefully strange, and the picture kept cutting in and out. :-\ So going to have to do some fixing, and rerouting the cable. Anyways, so Damon is pretty butthurt over what Elena said to him, managed to catch that stuff. I find it funny that since the first season Elena kept hating Damon because he had no humanity and kept bugging him about "getting" some humanity back into himself. Now I must say perhaps his timing was a bit late, but none the less, he professed his love to her and what does she do?

:'( Reject him. Only because she is clinging to what little hope she has left that Stefan, whom I must say is on his best "brood" streak by far, will take her back.  nonono Elena.  rolleyesx Move on. Let Rebecca or Catherine have your sloppy seconds. lolx

So of course this throws Damon back into his "It's muh boday and I do whadda wahnt! When evah I wahnt!" grove, and since he sees that Rebecca is clearly not scoring points with Matt, because simply the amount of stupid in the room starts to suffocate him when Rebecca shows up to try and bed him; Damon decides to add another bone to her cold dead body.

On a lighter note, I really do love the fact that Klaus is an artist. I love to paint and draw myself, and I like to do other "artsy" things, so I like how they swing Caroline into his sights. What will interest me is how they will explore his sense of humanity, and if caroline will truly fall for him. If it ever comes down to it and Caroline has a straight shot to save Klaus's life in what ever situation presents itself. The choice of whether she saves his life or let him die will tell me if he really "wooed" and won her over. I say this becaue when she bitched him out at the party and called him out on his "daddy" issues.  lolx I really thought then and there that she blew it with him... but his present to her thanking her about her honesty with him, makes me think that either A.) He just wants a pretty thing by his side and will just make the small comprimises to please her. Or B.) This vicious leopard of a man is really changing his spots and is truely is seeking her attention, affection, and love in return for his.

lolx Anywho... hope you guys enjoyed my novel... :P

I honestly love it when he does his spiral down. Its just the only way for him to cope with the fact that he loves Elena, and she is in love with his brother. I mean, Elena basiclly told him, that him being in love with her is a problem, and lets face it, whether she meant it or not, that was plain mean. Damon dimmed his emotion switch again, drowned in Bourbon, and slept with the first person he could find that might piss off Elena. This is where I find that I love Damon's character. It is soooo polarized as a person, its intriguing. He's either sober, and dead set on protecting Elena (stupid plans none the less); or he is a drunken stupor who pretends not to care (stupid plans aside). There really isnt an in between with him. I'd say he is the switch of the humanity of vampires... either on or off.

I read somewhere that there is a flashback 1912 episode where we see Damon before he leaves Stefan with Lexi for that second (Third) detox
