The Fragrance Thread

I couldn't find one, so I thought; let's make one!

Which fragrance is really horrible? Which one do you love and recommend and which one is on your wishlist?

I'm in love with Nina by Nina Ricci. I know it's already on the market since 2006 but I didn't knew it back then (Not interested in fashion etc) and only discovered it this year. And I love it, the bottle, the smell to the tv commercial is simply lovely.
My other addiction is Hypnose by Lancome. Also longer on the market but love it anyway.

A smell I think is really horrible is Pure Poison by Dior. It's truly poison. I thought; maybe i will buy Chanel nr. 5. But I didn't like it. So long on the market so I thought; must be good. Not really.

Anyone knows Stella by Stella McCartney? I read it's an amazing perfume.

But all in all, would be great to talk about perfumes and all. Which you love and which you hate.  :)

Then it must be a really good smell. I know a lot of people love a scent and two years later they don't like it anymore.

I truly hope Nina will still be in stores for a long time following because if this bottle is empty, I want a new one.

For me there's only one winner.  Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique is just divine, I adore it.

As for bad fragrances, Gwen Stefani's Harajuku lovers are pretty bad.  There's only 1 out of 5 that smells nice, the others smell like alcohol and are sickly.

Didn't knew Usher had perfume. :P
I really like the new Lancome perfume, Hypnose Senses. It smells really nice.

A perfume I also don't like is the one by Avril Lavinge.

1. Miss Dior Cherie by Dior
2. Rouge by Christian Lacroix
3. Daisy by Marc Jacobs
4. This one that I can't remember thats upstairs by Fendi.

I really like Miss Dior Cherie. Like absolutely adore it. Smells so fresh and cute. But Rouge is amazing as well. Neck and neck for the #1 spot! ;D

My favourite fragrance is Envy Me by Gucci, I just love the touch of pink pepper. I also like Allure by Chanel - basically I like all Chanel fragrances - and the new one by Chloé.

I generally don't like perfumes by celebrities. Another one I really dislike is Amor Amor by Cacharel, I used to live it when I was younger but now I think it makes you smell like a hooker.

I just smelled Ricci Ricci by Nina Ricci. Didn't like it so much at the beginning but after the heaviest scent wore off it smelled really good. It was Eau de Parfum but I want Toilette so I wonder if it will smell even better when it's lighter. I think so because the Toilette of Nina by Nina Ricci smelled so much better when it wasn't as heavily concentrated. And Nina is my favourite ever.

I thought CH by Carolina Herrera was a really nice perfume. It has this nice heavy overtone. Not for daily wear but very nice. For everyday use I like Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea perfune. it's very light and sweet. :)
