I couldn't sleep last night well lol

If Real Madrid pull it off it will be one of the great European come-backs, they have the players.

The most important thing is the win but how cool would it be to see Cristiano score the winning goal for Real Madrid tonight to send them to the quarter finals for the first time in 7 years? Cristiano has scored alot of goals this season and in his career but he hasn't really had a big "defining" moment yet imo (like we all remeber David Beckham single-handedly taking England to the World Cup finals vs Greece in 2002 with his free-kick or the Brazilian's Ronaldo's hat-trick at Old Trafford, or Zidane's volley in the Champion's League final for Real Madrid, or Ronaldinho getting a standing overation from the Bernabeu for Barcelona or Maradona's run and goal vs England or Ryam Giggs's run and goal vs Arsenal etc) stuff like that, what will Cristiano's career moment be remebered for?? his wink vs England??

Huh?? and Cristiano not??  ???

He single-handedly won the PL title and Champions league one for ManU.
England sees him as their best foreigner ever...for them he is in the same league as George Best was. And I'm not talking about trash newspapers as the Sun.

I'm not saying he never, I'm just saying he hasn't really had a "defining" moment yet imo, the league and champion's league is over the couse of a season, not 1 match.

He's only 25 though, he still has a few years left to do it...

Imo, Ronaldo just needs one title to be in the same league as Maradona, Pele and that's the World Cup. The same goes for Messi.
Individually they won practically everything.

You can't mention Beckham in the same sentence as the Ronaldos, Zidane...not by a mile.

But I understand what you're saying by "one match"....hopefully tonight is that match!

I'm not saying Beckham's as good as them hun, just saying hes had a big defining moment, that people can look back at his career and say "this was his best moment or finest hour", I'm not sure what my answer would be to that question if I was asked by someone about Cristiano and what was his finest moment or hour??

Hehe, that's because there are loads of moments ::lol::

I respect your opinion, and about Beckham as a player I have the same one like you wrote in page 30.

Theres alot of good moments in Cristiano's career imo but not "great ones", hs game vs Villareal was a highlight, but I don't hear or see people talking about it forever like the other defining moments, it wasn't broadcasted around the World, now if it was against Barcelona, Manchester United, hell even Lyon etc, it would of been his defining moment and talked about forever around the World.

Cristiano was so close to doing it vs Sevilla, his shot which was going in in the last minute of the game hit Raul and bounced away, so unlucky...

But Cristiano is still young at 25, he has a few years left to get a moment/match of his people will talk about forever...
