btw, did anyone feel a little pissed at higuain when guti sent a pass into the box and both ronaldo and higuain ran after it, then higuain looked at ronaldo and kept pointing to himself as if it to say the ball was for him and ronaldo shouldn't be chasing it ::lol::

Why should anyone be pissed at Pipita? He was well within his rights to go for that ball! The kid is a great striker dispite the stick that he gets in Spain. Next season whoever the coach is should try to develop a partnership between him and Benzema up front. They are both young, if they could gain an understanding then Madrid should have a striking partnership that last them the next 8 - 10 years.

i think you completely missed my point. higuain pointed at himself several times to imply 'this is mine/leave it to me'. i thought that gesture was silly.

Not that I think it's a big deal, but Imagine the outrage if Cristiano did that?? we'd have articles and videos of people discussing/analyzing it etc.

But he could have pointed at himself for anything couldn't he have? You are interpreting it, to what you think he did, and as you have decided that he was having a go at Cristiano you think he is being silly. To me it looks like you are being silly by looking for a problem between the pair or a trouble that just is not there.

Cristiano got 2 assists last night, more then all of the Real Madrid players did last night.

Cristiano's contribution is probably been abit undervalued.

I thought he did well to keep his cool, the first ten minutes when the tackles, elbows and everything else was flying about looked brutal. I thought he would do something impulsive and get himself sent. Never have liked Zaragoza i hope they get relegated.

Goals are valid more than anything in the game. Goals take the headlines. Assists, clean sheets, good passing is all important too but the person that scores the goal especially the winning one takes all the headlines and that will be Kaka.

I agree, Cristiano kept his cool well and didn't react to anything even though he was on the receiving end of some crude challenges.

I guess we can't complain too much, we always want Cristiano to get the headlines etc when he scores the goals, and plus Kaka and Raul deserve them goals, they needed them more then anyone on the team :)

the commentator also pointed it out so it didn't look odd just to me. i found that gesture very unnecessary so i'm posting my opinion, doesn't mean i'm looking to find problems between the two (i'm not the only making assumptions here, am i?). what's funny is, if ronaldo had done the same thing people would be pointing out his poor attitude regardless of his intetions, it would've made its way to one or two match reviews and anyone defending him would be called blind.

True Samia, and it's not the first time Pipita is doing it...seems to me personal succes is more important to him, but I could be wrong in my opinion... Also, I don't see a real chemistry between them.
Oh boy if Ronaldo had done the same...
