Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz (born 24 January 1987 in Salto) is a Uruguayan footballer who currently plays as a striker for Ajax. He has also been capped 30 times for the Uruguayan national team. At Ajax he mainly played as a supporting striker with the main striker initially being Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and later Marko Pantelić. Following the arrival of manager Martin Jol at Ajax, Suárez was made the club captain, succeeding the departed Thomas Vermaelen.

He proved himself as a good player in this WC, so I'm pretty sure he will get many offers from not only European clubs, but also from the teams of other continents.

i found something on the portal in my country and he has 6 siblings,as child he worked ilegal like cleaner in Montevideo and with 14 years he became drinker ad then his coach Ricardo told him that he will get out of the club if he doesn't get together and he listened him.So today we have great guinea pig-lol-football player....

It's great to hear that he managed to give his bad habbits and has become what he is today. And if he's a guinea pig, he's the hottest guinea pig I have ever seen :D

He really is a great player and in the last match he sacrificed so much so that his team would win, that handball of his kept uruguay in the world cup!
