Here Mayya
::) so he did spit at the camera...he really shouldn't give the media any more amunition to slate him. This is not the first time he's acted poorly after a big loss. he needs to keep him frustration under control because it doesn't look good or professional.

Did he? He spit on the floor as I can tell but of course he was mad at the cameraman ;)

'asi no ganamos, Carlos'
I think he knows Cristiano ;)
what do you mean?

oh, thanks. Is this what he said 'So we did not win, Carlos '? why would he ask that after the substitution? or is the translation not exact?

I think it means something along the lines of "We're not going to win this way." ^^^

Again, another twat underestimating Cristiano's dedication to football and his team. ::) ::) What a joke Van Persie's made himself out to be.

Okay, I read the article. ::lol::

I kind of agree with Van Persie. He's not saying anything offensive. There are millions of fans around the world and many were lucky enough to come watch Cristiano play in South Africa; and I know it's just frustration, but he should have handled himself better on the pitch. With that said, this thing is getting blown out of proportion.

LAME of people here to get mad at van Persie for saying such things. Truth hurts, no?

Why does it always have to be positive for you guys? Getting mad at Figo and now van Persie, I fully agree with them. He is my fave player but I'm not blind. I know when he is being selfish on the pitch. Glad that Alves is now the captain, Ronaldo didn't deserve it. He's no Figo.

the truth?

the truth is that CQ made a big mistake. he built up the whole team on defensive, hoping for penalty in the end cause he thought that would be the only chance to beat spain.

Oh that's right blame it all on Queiroz. I bet you all blamed Sir Alex Ferguson when they lost to Barcelona in the CL. Whatever, I still agree on what Figo and van Persie said. When you wear that national shirt, you should show maturity as a captain for the whole 90 minutes.. frustrated or not. Not talking about that spit on the camera thing, but those times when he acted like a baby instead of going back, chase the ball and fucking pass it.

Some of you just can't criticize him, can you? A fan doesn't mean you only have to say good things to the player you like.

I never blamed SAF for anything...

about the truth, it's something you see individually. the truth you see is different compared to the truth I see.

and how will you know if I criticize him or not? believe me I've done that a lot of times when I thought he did something wrong imo. but this time he didn't. that's the reason why I defend him.

totally agree with you! Cristiano always gets frustrated when things aren't going well, that's what he does. He can't keep chasing the ball throughout the whole match or he'll get burned out and won't be able to make those long, fast runs if ever the ball did come to him. First half he was running to the other side to help defend. When you're fouled and the ref looks the other way of course you will be angry!

Could there be a "post WC" thread? Or a "summer" thread? It's difficult to follow one conversation across multiple threads....

Its the same thing i am saying anything negative people say about cris they get upset tbh I don't think some girls r just fan girls u really have some on here who r extremely obsess with him and it is sad, however van perwateve was wrong to speak bad about a baller it is not professional he should judge himself before judging others it is not right he could have said that to cris in private.
