Look at Barcelona, they build there team around Messi, even though they have other great players.

Cristiano is too good to be just a "supporting cast" or "extra" and I don't think he will allow himself to be marganized, his whole sponsor/football image and where he earns so much money is because he scores goals and entertains the fans with his skills/free-kicks etc.
