So this is the renewed Trueblood thread.

Some serious dicussion may happen from time to time, namely just comparing the books to the series, however, they have become separate entities.

If you feel behind on what's going on, besure to read up on the books, (there will be nine of them, with one pending to be released, not sure when, but CH has it in the works.) Or if youa re behind on the series you can view episodes on HBO's Trueblood part of their website.

Season three finale is approaching fast so besure to watch it and give a review, we would like to hear what you have to say. Don't agree to just agree, tell us why! Or if you disagree, tell us what's up? ;D

Well the main things that's got fans worried is that AB may kill of one of Trueblood's big players, Eric to be specific. Since him and Russell are now bound together by silver handcuffs and are out in the Fangtasia parking lot getting slowly roasted by the sunlight. There just maybe that big chance that Ball will take his 'story changing' liberties too far and kill a big time fan favorite character. I want to say that I doubt that will ever happen, but this season has proven so far to be quite a wild card. So what awaits in store for us in this season's finale is really up in the air since Ball has changed the game up very differently from how it went down in "Club Dead".

The moments I have enjoyed so far this season are the ones between Eric and Pam. Very sweet on a somewhat romantic level. :D

I looooooooove True Blood. I started watching the third season and got hooked. Now I'm going back through the first two. Almost done with the first, but the third season is just SO GOOD. Although, I don't like Crystal....or really anything to do with her story line.

What I have read is that Russell will die before Eric because he is much older than Eric. Something to do with when Godric died. I hope Eric doesn't die though. I like him.

 ::lol:: That's right. ^^^

Since Russell is the older vampire, he'll burn faster!

But I hope the burn ticker doesn't run out on Eric! ::lol::

I know! That would not be good if Eric turned into vamp juice ::lol::

Honestly though, I don't think he will and I don't think he will because ASkars JUST did the Rolling Stones Cover with Anna and Steven. Plus I think that would ruin the whole turmoil between Sookie being caught between Bill and Eric (even though I'm sure she'll always be with Bill).

Edit: Well obviously that would ruin the turmoil ::lol::

I'm sure that Eric won't die. That would truly piss off a lot of the fans. Plus, I need my Eric storyline for next season! I read that Denis O'Hare will be a recurring character next season so *SPOLIER MAYBE??* it's looking like both Eric and Russell will be surviving their time out in the sun. I LOVE that Rolling Stone cover. I bought the issue as soon as it was out just because Alex looks smoking hot on it. I think that cover represents True Blood fairly well: Hotness, sex, violence, and blood!! ::lol:: I can't wait until the finale now!! (Plus my hottie Alcide will be back! Eric is still my fav character on the show, but Alcide is definitely a close second!!) ;)

::lol:: Both Joe and Alex have nice asses to stare at.

So Russell will be a re-accuring character on the fourth season, sounds splendid! I loved him this season! He was a very intriguingly odd character. ::lol::

Who are Joe and Alex?

I'm still new :D

I kind of want to see Russell die to be honest. I'm sick of him.

^^Hey amf22! (sorry I don't know your name!!) I'm Natalie! Joe is Joe Manganiello, who plays Alcide. Alex is Alexander Skarsgard, who plays Eric. I hope that helped!! :) I still like Russell for some reason. He doesn't irritate me yet. At least nowhere near the amount that Crystal does. I don't know if it's just that I don't like the actress who plays Crystal or what. I am not impressed with her at all this season. And I agree with you Anicia, Joe and Alex do have some nice asses!!  ;) ::lol::

I like Alexander with short hair. I hate long hair on men.

Why thank you Nat!

Yeah guys I totally did not get to see the episode last night due to the Cowboys versus the Redskins being on last night, so my father hogged the television. But If you two have already seen it, give your reviews (I wanna read'em!!! :-*), but Of course I wont come back onto this thread until I've seen it tonight. ::lol::

I'm so excited, I hope the finale went well.

Ok so time for my review!
First things first: THANK YOU SOOKIE for finally telling Bill off ;D (sadly Eric got told off too but I guess I can't blame Sookie) I am so glad that she finally stopped being obsessed with Bill and actually got pissed at him. It was interesting seeing her mean streak show up against Russell. When she poured Talbot down the drain. Quite the good evil laugh though. I thought that Anna Paquin did a great job in this episode

I loved Russell yet again! Especially his mocking Sookie so that she will use her powers to save him and Eric from the sun. And his threats to Bill and Eric as they covered him with cement.

Loved Eric in this episode. Is it just me or is Sookie perhaps starting to develop feelings for him? ??? (well at least she seemed to be until he revealed everything about Bill) She seemed to care about what happened to Eric a lot. I liked that Eric chose to be honest and in a way force Bill to confess everything about the Queen and his procuring of Sookie. Also, on a shallow note, I must say that ASkars even looks hot covered in cement! ::lol:: I am really hoping for the main story arc of book 4 to come into play in season 4! Mainly so I can get more ASkars screentime.

Alcide was also looking hot last night. I enjoyed the kinda flirting between him and Sookie. We'll have to see what happens with those two next season I guess. And I wonder where Debbie went to. She'll probably be back to make Sookie's life a living hell in no time though. Which hopefully Alcide will be there to help Sookie!

Jessica and Hoyt's story was sweet. I do like them as a couple. Does anyone else get the meaning of the creepy doll that was in the other room when Hoyt was picking Jessica up? One reviewer on a site said that it was symbolic of the fact that those two can never have children together. I didn't pick up on that though. It wasn't until I was showering this morning that I made a maybe connection. Doesn't Summer collect creepy ass dolls?? Maybe her and Maxine are planning on taking out Jessica since Hoyt refused Summer? Maxine was in that gun store? I don't know. It's an idea

Still don't really care about Jason and Crystal. Although it could be interesting seeing Jason attempt to be leader of Hotshot.

I felt so bad for Tara this whole season. She's really been screwed over for basically the entire show so far. I thought she was getting ready to kill herself when she had those scissors in her hand. I'm glad it was just a haircut though! Still not sure what I think about the cut. I'm undecided.

Sam is interesting too. This mean side of him is fascinating to watch, especially since he has been a sort of pushover so far. I wonder if he really shot Tommy. I don't think he did. But I don't know where else he would have shot

I was a bit disappointed with the "cliffhanger" ending. I thought it would be much more shocking. I'm under the impression that Sookie went with Claudine to fairy world (which I can't stand since fae just exist and live in Bon Temps and Shreveport in the books. I wish they would have kept that and not made it all weird ::lol::). I think I was hoping for a certain cliffhanger ending involving Eric! Hopefully people know what I'm talking about! ;)
