I agree with you. But this never affected his game before and Armani was shot in May...I'm sure this isnt the problem.

I don't think it was a problem before because his football was so good, now his football is rubbish and hes doing these commercials... not a good look.

I think rubbish is the right word. i never seen him play like this (im including world cup and pre-season)  and i have been flowing him since he got to Man U. idk what going on and assist or not he is not the same.

Benfica (I think) CL game where he gave the crowd the finger, then got red-carded at Man City a few weeks later. Ah, those were the days....

Not scoring at the beginning of a season when he's obviously been pushed out to a wing & has a new coach and a batch of new teammates is irritating. But he's not been rubbish. He drives the team. They're just being driven like they have a slight problem in the transmission right now.

It doesn`t matter when the commercials were shot nor that they dont bother his football,what matters is that people are not talking about him because of his football but because of his ad campaigns.Doesn`t bug me cause I know he is a footballer but for the big public it`s a problem since he wants to be known as great footballer and not a celebrity.

Seriously though, I hope Cristiano has saved alot of money for when he retires from football in a few years, I don't want to see him having to sell his football stuff, or do degrading things, for money, after he retires from football.
