Allow me to quote my friend:

"Qatar hosting World Cup 2022? Are you serious? No stadiums, no alcohol, desert in the summer, but tons of money. Great job FIFA."

Allow me to quote my friend:

"Qatar hosting World Cup 2022? Are you serious? No stadiums, no alcohol, desert in the summer, but tons of money. Great job FIFA."

::lol::

Russia:  Mafia Boys, Lots of Alcohol (means more arrests/fights), No built staduims, and apparently Racism towards coloured people on teams.

Qatar: No stadiums, no alcohol, desert in the summer, but tons of money, and the unbearable heat...

Like you said Allali... Great job Fifa ::)

No they already said in their presentation that alcohol will be served , and they would be air conditonning in the stadiums.Also they will let Israel participate.I am dissappointed with Sportugal lost but Im happy with the fact that a  country from the middle-east will host a world cup.I dont care about Fifa motivations for choosing Qatar but IM HAPPY FOR THEM:):):):):):):):)

Imo and I know I'm probably biased but it should of been in England... The atmosphere, the climate, the fans and the staduims/accomodations were perfect!

But who am I.. Fifa dont care for passion so it seems, I dont know anything about Qatar though..

I am disappointed with both choices.

If I don't make it to Brazil 2014 then there is no WC for me until 2026 because Russia is way too far and expensive for me to get to and I'm weary of going to Qatar out of concern for their alcohol policy.

To be honest, I'm worried about 2022 because I forsee plenty of trouble for fans who want to drink and have a good time. Sure they can drink in the fan zones, but what happens when you have to make your way back to your hotel?  Yes alcohol is allowed, but it's illegal to be drunk in public... that's dicey!
