was on the back foot all year -- starting with the 5-0 loss, where Mourinho set up wrong and then couldn't adapt. So now he tries to get an edge over Barcelona in these games, and puts the team even further back for next year.
I just wish we saw more of the tactical genius -- someone who knew how to get the best out of Ronaldo + every other player -- and less of the person who knew how to throw an exciting press conference.
i totally agree with you. It's like Pep said, Mou can win in the conference room. That's his kingdom and he will always win there, but its more important to win out on the pitch and let football talk for you.

Ronaldo already gets nothing from referees. Why would Mourinho create a strategy so that it requires Ronaldo to insult the refs when they're the people he needs to get play? It's obvious that bad press for the referees won't do anything -- it's not like the English NT or Barcelona, who can get a mob incensed over a bad call.
gets bad calls, and people note that they were bad calls, and then say "oh well" and move on.
Maybe Mourinho should be banned a few more games for failing to control his players.
