Cristiano Ronaldo's Life After Football
« on: 7 September 2011, 15:15:35 »
it's a good few years away now but a football career doesn't last forever and goes quickly!

What do you expect or want Ronaldo to do after hes retired from playing football?

Manage or coach a football club?

Teach kids football?

Businessman?

Male model?

Actor?

Or nothing and he will just fade away into the sunset from the media limelight?

I want him to become a manager like Mou :D

It's still so long away, I hope!

In the famous words of Cris

"only god knows" ::lol::

I'd like him to get involved in coaching kids one-day for some nice small club where the pressure is not so huge (Sporting?) :-*

But if I was Cris after football I'd take a few years vacation to enjoy my retirement away from the media pressures to get my life sorted the way I want it and do things I couldn't do when I was a footballer (not get a media career straight away as that would keep him in the media spotlight). He's played football his whole life and had to sacrifice alot, his family and fun time etc.. it would be nice to enjoy life without worrying about football.. he has the money to never work again and he can enjoy his son growing up and maybe enjoying his own family going to different places without worrying about what to drink/eat and football schedule - as nobody can say anything bad as hes a retired footballer.

Maybe Cris will work for Gestifute and become a football agent after football like Brazilian Ronaldo ::lol::

I'm sure he could do that and up-and-coming players would be glad to have their careers managed by the most expensive player in the World.

Just look at "brand Beckham". If Cris and his agent are clever things will fall into place and he won't have to do much to get work in the future.

I can see him coaching kids, even some day managing a club somewhere.

Maybe Cristiano will still do something as a media career (in football or some other media career), so this forum stays active (well the Cristiano part anyway).

Do you think Ronaldo will want to stay busy as soon as he retires and go into another job or not work for awhile and enjoy his retirement and money for awhile?

Maybe he will be one of those people who wants to stay active and doesn't know how to switch off and retire relaxing on a beach because football has been his life since he was so small, he doesn't know any other way. The World is his oyster really. Maybe he will do alot of things after football instead of just 1 career, maybe learn some new languages, travel to different places etc.

I don't know, I don't think he has that natural ability, like Pique does. He seems dare i say awkward infront of  a camera. He certainly has the looks for it, maybe he can be taught the rest?

If it's possible to train for it, Cristiano can, just like he does for his football which is not all natural ability

I think he's too stiff and defensive in photoshoots, he just needs something to learn to relax/loosen up and let himself go.

Didn't he say to that Fani girl that he's not that much into modeling?
