"Jack..." The colour drained from Giorgina's face,
"What's up?" He asked, "You look like you seen a ghost. What are you hiding?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know full well what I mean," Jack snapped, "I know all about your little trysts with Torres. You're sick."
"Fernando," Giorgina looked down,
"What did you think I meant?" Jack asked, "Unless there are more... which I wouldn't put it past you really."
She closed her eyes and turned placing her hands on the counter, "You don't understand..."
"I understand alright," Jack frowned, "I understand that you're a no morals and no standards desperate hypocritical whore."
She spluttered, "That's rich! Jack Wilshere... talking to me about morals!"
"Hypocrite," He fumed, "All those times you told Lys she was better off without me cos of what I done... that's nothing on what you've done to Conor. You're disgusting."
"Get out."
"Truth hurts?!"
"I SAID GET OUT!"
"Gi?" The door opened and Conor walked in. His eyes fell on Jack and he frowned, "What's going on?"
"Nothing," Giorgina shook her head, "Jack was just leaving."
"Wilshere?" Conor turned to his friend, watching as he stumbled on his words, "Come on.... out with it."
"He's just... sad about Alyssa!" Giorgina piped up frantically, "Aren't you Jack?"
"Conor..." Jack took in a deep breath, "I'm sorry mate. I love you and all but... there's something you need to know."
"So... how's it going with Evie?"
Jonny looked down, his cheeks pinking and then nodded, "Good."
"Just good?" Tom raised an eyebrow,
"Okay more than good," Jonny smiled, "I think I'm falling for her."
Diana squealed, "That's so romantic!"
"Shush," Jonny scoffed, "Gosh Carrow for someone so notoriously cool you don't half have a squeal on you."
"I try," Diana pouted, "So... when are you seeing her next?"
"Tonight," Jonny nursed his hot chocolate, "I'm meeting her from work. She's coming over to mine and-"
"Say no more," Tom guffawed, "I get you.. OUCH! What was that for crazywoman?"
"Not everyone thinks with their dick Cleverley!" Diana snapped, "Jonny here is a gentleman. He wants to get to know her for HER not for how great she is at giving head."
A bit of hot chocolate lodged in Jonny's throat and he started to cough, and the two best friends looked at eachother and then back at him before starting to snigger between themselves,
"Good one!" Tom laughed, "Get to know her for her... he's getting some tonight!"
"Oh hell yeah he is," Diana high fived him.
"Has she said something?" Jonny panicked,
"She doesn't have to... How many dates have you guys been on?" Diana asked, "3...5... I'm amazed she stuck it out for so long, being the Northern Irish Adonis you clearly are."
"Shurrup," Jonny looked down, beetroot,
"Oh what's the problem? It's not like you've never done it before!" Tom laughed, "I mean seriously... you did it with Kate, right?"
Silence fell.
The silence was soon broken by a throaty gasp coming from Diana. She reached over taking his hands, "Jonny, have you ever done it before?"
He looked up and scowled, "It's not like I didn't want to. It's just I been so busy with football and... Kate told me she wanted to wait until marriage and I never cheated. Then I tried to have one night stands while I was out with Wayne-"
"-figures you'd be out with him," Diana muttered,
Jonny shot her a warning look, "-but it never suited me. I didn't know what to do and I could hardly tell the girls I was a virgin. I mean jesus I play for United! Can you imagine the uproar? Premiership footballer... VIRGIN. The Sun would eat that shit up!"
"That is quite... wow. So you've never?"
He shook his head.
"Second base?" Diana asked,
He shook his head once more,
"First base?"
"I got to touch Kate's boob once when we were making out, but it was over the bra,"
"Wow you know how to live," Tom deadpanned,
"I'm screwed aren't I?"
"Literally, no. But technically, yes." Tom smirked,
Diana shook her head in despair at her BFF, "Really?"
"I'm sorry. It was too good," Tom laughed, "
He's a fucking virgin!"
"I don't want her to run the other way," Jonny frowned,
"She won't," Diana shook her head, "Trust us. Evie's cool."
"I know," Jonny replied, "That's why I don't want her to..."
"You need to tell her man," Tom spoke through a mouthful of sundae, "You can't just freak out as soon as she takes her top off. That can scar a girl."
"You're not funny," Jonny scowled,
"He's right," Diana spoke up, "You're not. Just stop talking... period."
Giorgina ran through the woods, looking around in despair. In her hurry, she didn't notice the object on the floor - until she went flying head first into the dirt. She let out a cry and clutched her ankle, scrambling around until she found a shoe. Not just any shoe... she'd recognize that Choo from anywhere. Charley's.
"Fuck," She howled grabbing it and sitting up, "CHARLEY! Where are you?"
It was official. SAhe'd gone from being 'a bit pissed off' to full on 'crazy psycho bitch' and she was beyond caring. How could everything go so wrong within the space of a day?
"What are you talking about?" Conor asked, "What is he talking about?"
"Conor, he's lying!" Giorgina cried, "He wants to split us up. He's in on it with her!"
"Her?"
"That bitch Charley," Gi sobbed flinging herself at him in despair, "They're out to get me. You have to believe me Con!"
"Charley? What's she got to do with it?" Conor asked, "Gi, stop."
"She's unhinged," Jack snapped, "Clearly you can see that."
"You... just-" Conor pointed at his friend accusingly, "Get out."
"What?" Jack hissed,
"You're clearly upsetting her. This stress isn't good for the baby," Conor shook his head.
Jack looked down at a whimpering Giorgina to see her looking up at him, a look of satisfaction on her face.
"Oh WAKE UP!" Jack shouted, "There is NO baby. She lied. And even if there is a baby now... it's not yours."
"I will fucking end you." Conor snarled, "Get out of my house or I won't be responsible for my actions."
"What happened to hoes over bros?" Jack shook his head, "You deserve everything you get. When she fucks you over don't come crying to me!"
Giorgina looked up as Conor walked through to the lounge.
"Feeling better?" He asked, monotone,
She nodded, "A bit."
"Great," Conor nodded, "Wanna tell me what this is?"
Her eyes widened as they fell on a photo he was holding. It was taken last week outside of Fernando's house. Caught out."Any luck?" Joe asked,
Alyssa shook her head, "It's crazy. All the years of knowing Charley she has never pulled a stunt like this. She must be pretty cut up."
"Love does crazy things to you," Joe looked down,
"Yeah," She sat down,
He moved closer wrapping his arms around her and starting to massage her. She smiled, "That's good."
"Yeah?" He replaced his hands with his lips and smirked, "Better?"
"Better," She nodded,
"How about we go upstairs?" He purred, "I can show you what I can do with my hands."
"Just your hands?" She turned raising an eyebrow,
"Weelll..." He smirked and she grabbed his hand pulling him through.
"Charley, please answer your phone," Adam spoke into his phone, "I'm begging you. Just... talk to me babe. I hate it when we fight."
He didn't know how many beers he'd downed, or pills he'd taken. He just knew that the more he took, the less it hurt. Now he knew how all the conquests must have felt when he'd promised them he'd called and didn't. This was karma, and he hated karma. His chest hurt so much he could barely breathe, "-just... please."
He threw his I-Phone down on the couch and massaged his temples. He was becoming more out of sync with the world around him second by second. His eyesight blurred, his hands and feet were numbing... slowly and slowly, until he fell into darkness...
"You're late," Mikel spoke,
Sanna jumped clutching her chest, "You scared me."
Mikel shrugged, "I made you tea. I thought you'd be-"
"Tea?" Sanna asked. Her eyes fell on the table that had been set out, "Oh.. Mik. I'm sorry. You should've told me."
"It was going to be a surprise," He smirked, "Where were you?"
She went to talk.
"Don't say Mia's. I called her," Mikel snapped startling her,
"I went to Bouchra's," Sanna frowned, "She wanted to do lunch... so after I dropped the kids off at Mia's I headed to hers and we had some lunch in town."
"Oh..."
"Do you want to call her?" Sanna asked, "-to check?"
"No, I-"
"What's this about Mikel?" Sanna frowned,
"I thought-" Mikel stuttered, "You..." He closed his eyes and stalled,
"You thought?" Sanna asked,
"You talk in your sleep," He leant against the counter, "You talk and shout and... you cry in your sleep."
Her face fell.
"They say someone can tell a million stories in their sleep," A tear rolled down Mikel's cheek, "-and correct a million lies, in your case."
"Mikel," She stepped forward,
"I just wanted to make you happy," Mikel's lip quivered, "But I can't. No matter what I'll never be able to compete with history."
"You can..."
"I can't," Mikel shook his head, "It was stupid of me to think I could."
"Mikel please..."
"I can't be Fernando, Sanna," Mikel frowned, "I can only be me. And... if that's not enough then I'm going to have to let you go."
She was quiet.
"Can you tell me I'm enough?" He asked, "Right now... can you?"
"I-"
He shook his head and smiled sadly, "I didn't think so."
"Mikel," She closed her eyes,
"I'm going to go and stay with Jack for a while," Mikel bit his lip, "I think... I think it's for the best."
