A/N: Kay well since Iker and Sergio are tied were using both for our two main characters.
Since Chapters were written before we casted were in the process of rewritting them to include cast, having said that, the cast is in Chapter 2.

capítulo uno

Madrid, España
   Sofía Aragonés del Bosque sat on the balcony of her small apartment, overlooking the seemingly hundreds of clothes lines that hung around the buildings. Her dark eyes that spelled out her heritage to those around her looked blankly ahead. Her small hands held a glass of coffee, but it seemed forgotten in the mist of her thoughts. Softly in the background a radio could be heard, it was the chaos of a bull fight spilling out of the speakers and Sofía?  she only wanted it to end. She prayed to every saint she knew that the only news of death her ears would hear was that of the bull. She knew, deep down that this is what she deserved. She deserved to gasp for breath while her heart was being squeezed to the point of unbearable pain.  She deserved to jump at every mention of the torero. They warned her, her heart and head that he was a bad idea. It was impossible, they said; to love a man who was married to death. It was impossible, to love a man who was in love with the thought of dying for the sake of his art. He could never really love her either, for toreros couldn’t love a woman, because a woman would make him love life. A woman would make him want to live. So you see, she deserved this pain because she was foolish. She was a foolish woman who was in love with a man who detached himself from her and every other person who made him feel alive. As a consequence, her heart and head made her sit and listen to those fights, they wanted to remind her how foolish she truly was. She looked around when it was over and placed her glass down on the yellow tiled floor.
“Gracias a Dios” she whispered taking a deep steady breath.
She slowly walked to the bathroom, turning on the appliances to fix her long dark hair and grabbed her makeup bag.
 She applied her blush as the glare of ring caught her eye. She stopped and looked down at the giant diamond ring like she forgot it was there. Sofía shook her head and finished getting ready- blindly picking out clothes from her designer clad wardrobe. She was trying desperately to get into a normal mood. All of Madrid would have their eyes on her in less than an hour, the next day the gossip magazines would have her face on them, the television shows would be rating her outfit. And yet, she couldn’t bring herself to care. She grabbed her Chanel bag and sent her sister Malèna a quick text. When she caught herself staring at the picture of her and a handsome young man in a Torero outfit by the front door, she threw it behind her, feeling a little satisfied by the sound of the glass shattering.
“Hola,” Sofía greeted as she sat into the White Audi that was parked outside of her shabby apartment building.
The man by her side looked at the building in disgust, “Do you know how bad it makes me look when you insist on living in a place like this?” he asked.
Sofía shrugged as she slipped on her Gucci sunglasses, “You sound like my Grandfather,”.
“He doesn’t like it either,” he replied going a little too fast through the streets.
“Have you spoken to him?” she asked.
The handsome man nodded, “We had a meeting concerning the Euros last night,”
Sofía raised a perfectly groomed eyebrow, “I’d appreciate it if you would talk to him like you’re manager in those meeting instead of your future grandfather in law; I’m sure Iker does it,”
“He’s the one who asked why I let you live in that dump,” he replied sharply turning a corner.
Sofia’s heart swelled, she loved where she lived, and she loved the closeness and simplicity that the working class Madrid neighborhood brought to her. She liked the fact that she paid her bills with her Flamenco money and not from her trust fund-or her fiancé. That little apartment was the only piece of her old life she had left. She missed that life, before one man left and the other entered and returned and left again while the other one waited for the other to leave again so he could step back in. She didn’t reply to him, instead she looked out the window and took in the city her people where born and lived in. She closed her eyes and tried to picture what the Old Castile looked like-the one her ancestors lived in.
“I hate it when you listen to those damn reports,” he spoke, his voice strained with pain.
She turned to him and realized that his strong jaw was clenched together and his handsome face looked devastated. Those dark brown eyes looked soulless.
She felt her heart drop. He was also a lesson from her heart and mind. A reminder of what her actions did to those around her.
“He’s fine, you know, he perfectly fucking fine so can you please act normal again?” he asked.
She nodded, “I’m…I’m sorry Sergio,” she whispered.
“You always are Sofía;” he said softly, “You always are,”
They pulled up in front of a restaurant, the cameras were already going off as futbolistas stepped out of their cars with their respective other halves on their arm. Sofía braced herself. She knew the moment the Vice captain of Real Madrid and the Granddaughter of the great del Bosque claimed out, the cameras would snap ten times brighter, a million times faster and a lot more harsher.
