Karanka: We are all well aware of Cristiano's characteristics. His experience allows him to grow and adapt to the team's necessities. We know how the Bernabeu crowd is and what it wants. They weren't much in favour of him not so long ago and tonight they gave him a standing ovation. He played at a high level. It's better to grow and if a player of his quality manages to grow then it's great for the team.

Finally after 3 years they sing his name!  :mrgreen: I'm not sure I can forget them for how they treated Cris before, but hopefully it's a fresh start  peacex

Cris has changed/improved the last few weeks, really working harder, defending etc and maybe the Bernabeu like that version of him more then his goals, skills etc

maybe Ronaldo wasn't mad at the Bernabeu for how they was treating him he probably mad at himself and knew he had to change
