X Factor star Chico becomes father
It's baby time for X Factor star Chico Slimani.
The singer became a father for the first time.
His partner Daniyela Rakic gave birth to a baby girl they have called Lalla-Khira Slimani.
She was born on Monday morning weighing 9lb 7oz.
"I am ecstatic. Lalla-Khira is beautiful and I am looking forward to fatherhood," Chico said.
He chose the name Khira, which means divine blessing in Arabic, after his grandmother.
Chico, a former goat herder from Morocco, was a runner-up in the last series of The X Factor.
His debut single It's Chico Time topped the UK chart.
