FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007 - It's gonna be huge.

In 2007, the world?s biggest game is coming to Canada. Canada will host the World?s finest youth players in six cities across the country - Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, Burnaby, and Victoria ? with the dates for the tournament set for June 30-July 22, 2007.

The final game is in Toronto!!!!!!

you know what means, a city full of soccer players under the age of 20!!
its going to be a greeeaaatttt summerr!  ;D

Yesterday was the group drawings for the FIFA U-20 World Cup and these were the teams drawn into each group and where they are set to play:

Group A (Edmonton): Canada, Chile, Congo, Austria
Group B (Burnaby): Spain, Uruguay, Jordan, Zambia
Group C (Toronto): Portugal, New Zealand, Gambia, Mexico
Group D (Montreal): Poland, Brazil, South Korea, United States
Group E (Ottawa): Argentina, Czech Republic, North Korea, Panama
Group F (Victoria): Nigeria, Japan, Costa Rica, Scotland

Mexico has an easy group, only Portugal can be a bit tough

this so totally sucks. i used to live so close to victoria too. it's an absolutely gorgeous city. i wish i'd gotten to stay longer.

^^ i agree. portugal may give them a run for their money.

im not one to follow U-anythings, but Spain usually has the best group of young players so im betting my euros on them.

hehe ive been excited bout this since last summer and i saw the commercials saying its cuming to canada..finally sum football here! i jus hope spain makes it to the final so i have a chance of seeing em here in toronto :D
