A year has already passed since the tragic news that Antonio passed away

Tomorrow will be the 1st anniversary from his death. I still remember it like it was yesterday, when I first heard the news.

Nice thing of Sergio Ramos, shows that he is still rememberd by his friends. What where they celebrating?

I do, too. I was watching the game during which he collapsed and I had to siwtch the channel, because I couldn't watch it. When I heard that he died, I had tears in my eyes. Not that I heard much of him before, it just touched me because he was so young.

But, yeah, I loved Sergio for that shirt, too. And I think he once said in an inteview that during Spain's national anthem he talks to Antonio, that's why he always looks up to the sky.

I feel sooo bad cos i completely forgot...
but it was such a tragic day for the whole of the footballing world as we lost yet another talented young footballer.

I would like to think and hope situations as sad and heartwreaking as these have opened the eyes of all the football clubs over the world to test their players for arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy or keep records of those who already have an implant. In puerta's case the paramedics didn't know if he had an implanted cardiac defibrillator or not, who's knows now if the situation now may have be different if they did.

My heart goes out to his son, partner, family and friends.

The euro was for you Puerta, R.I.P hermano
