Whats the best league in the world?

well i want you to tell me which you  consider the best league of football in the world... for me is the EPL because of the excitement, most of the matches are enterteining , what do you think?

In europe i only really watch the premiership and La Liga. And for me this years premiership has been fantastic, much more enteraining than La Liga.

La Liga
playing style is very well rounded, and I like the pace

second would be Calcio, then EPL

Bundesliga is my least favorite
I like MLS better than it, but I like watching Argentine football better than MLS

Premiership, it mite not be as technically superior as La Liga but it's better in other aspects.

i like La Liga though and would put it second.

i guess it depends on your taste really.

this year calcio and la liga has been very boring, im even watching bundesliga!

I really like the EPL, the pace seems fast enough for me but, Spanish football is too slow but, again I still love it.

Some years ago the Italian Seria a was definitely up there too but with all this crap happening there now and Inter being that much better than all the other teams you cant say that anymore.
The EPL may be the best when it comes to passion, atmosphere and determination but not on a technical scale.
Oh and I think the Portuguese league deserves a mention too.

The Superliga is in the top four leagues in the world now in my opinion. Very very entertaining football. The brazilians of Europe as they say in Portugal. If you want entertaining football with flair and passion and speed, The superliga is the league for you. You will find the young talent in the portuguese league is absolutely phenomenal. Anderson, Nelson, djalo, Ronnie are just a few of the young pearls that league has unearthed. Stars like Petit and quaresma also play in that league so it cant be taken lightly. I think people forget the team Porto won the Championsleague with. Think about who they had, Deco, carvalho, ferreira, costa. all world class players. People tend to overlook the superliga which is a shame. Definately one of the best. Second to the premiership in my liking however I believe its fourth overall in terms of best leagues.

The talents are mainly wingers and left or right backs though. We need strikers!!! haha.
I would rate the Superliga above the Bundesliga, atleast the way it is now. They've been more successful on the european stage the last couple of years. And their football is on a higher level I think. Plus Munich representing Germany as the only team in Campions League is kind of a joke...

Thats true definately. The bundesliga is going down to i guess but, they have four or five great quality teams where as the superliga only have three world class teams. I think its fantastic how the leagues actually reflect the personalities and people of their country. Ill try to give some examples.

Premierleague - It is hard and very paced, no patience at all really. Everybody appreciates a great tackle and hard working players are admired the most. This reflects the English hard working and brave attitude as people.

La Liga - Is all about style and finess. This is where skill is seen as the number one priority. This reflects the spanish people as being full of flair and emotion. It is true that la liga reflects the emotions of spanish people in general.

Seria A - Very very defensive minded. All teams in seria a have always been known for building a team around their defence. A very classy league at the same time too. This reflects the italian people as low risk takers and defensivly minded but have that touch of class about them. This is very true from personal experience with my family being half italian.

Suerpliga - very similar to the brazilian league, absolutely full of attacking football and flair. The word defending is unknown in the suerpliga, they play football to enjoy it and to have fun. Thats how football should be played. This is the beautiful game after all. I think this reflects the portuguese people because they are the same. Always very out going and full of emotion.


Sorry if that made no sense haha. Its just an observation i made.

I dont think superliga is a good league.. besides porto, benfica and  sporting theres no more interesting clubs, i even think bundesliga is better , from europe i think the bests are:

1. EPL
2. La Liga
3. Bundesliga
4. Calcio
5. Maybe Eredivisie

I missed the Bundesliga Mike, I was curious to see what you were writing about it  . I totally agree with your characterisation but you can add that Italians are definately pessimistic hehe.

And when there is even the Eredivisie mentioned then the french league should be up there too. With Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux and Lille they have also some strong teams.
