Reports earlier claimed Hollywood superstar and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio was all set to marry his Israeli model girlfriend Bar Rafaeli. Wedding bells were set to chime and beautiful babies would have been produced. The reports claimed that the 'Titanic' star proposed at a party and Rafaeli accepted his proposal. The claim was that DiCaprio and Rafaeli fooled everyone two weeks ago when they threw a small, intimate birthday party for Rafaeli's brother Neil. But the get-together was really an opportunity for DiCaprio to ask Rafaeli to marry him.
"They'll probably have a private ceremony in Israel, then a big ring ceremony and party in the US toward the end of the year," a source said. One problem, a pal of Leo's says "no way." Us Weekly magazine does the leg work and cites a source close to Leonardo DiCaprio, 32, and that person is denying rumors that he?s getting hitched to his super-hot model girlfriend Bar Refaeli, 21.
"It's complete BS," the insider tells Usmagazine.com of the couple's reported engagement. "Not true. Made up by supermarket tabloid." The two recently took a trip to Refaeli?s native Israel, where they visited with her parents and brawled with the paparazzi. But apparently there is no proposal.
But this wasn't Leo's first time meeting the parents, and the source adds, "Just because you see the parents doesn't mean there is an engagement."
