When he finishes his career, his name will be written as an all-time great, no doubt.

People don't seem to appreciate you like that untill your retired or dead it seems.

Well as long as the next generation appreciate his class the same as Zizou or Best etc, that is what matters in the end of it all.

If he doesn't get any Player of the Year awards, then I'd be speechless. I'm pretty sure he will, CL and PL win with the PFA awards and the Footballer's Writer's Association award with the Barclays Player of the Month/Season awards and the Golden Boot should be enough for him to get the best player, no doubt. If he doesn't, the world is fucking blind.

Stupid critics are just picky 24/7, they want perfection out of this guy.

There's no point in COMPARING him to the other greats, cause modern football has changed drastically this past years. Like one of the guys said in the comments section,

"Players' greatness must always be measured within the context of the era they played in."

Are you fucking serious? ::lol::

I think he would have had a great game if he'd scored the penalty. But, he did very very very very well. He had so many good crosses. Plus, a few runs down the field.

AND the goal.

Stupid critics just seem to NOT want to accept his greatness.

He's still young so let's see at the end of his career how much hes won compared to Maradona, Pele, Best, Zidane ect, one thing i can guarantee is that hes done and won more then Zidane did at the same age, that's a fact, so hes on the right path.

Zidane won a world cup, thats inmense

Kaka Tips Ronaldo As World's Best

Kaka Tips Ronaldo As World's Best

Current World Player of the Year, AC Milan's Kaka, has confessed that he believes Cristiano Ronaldo has now replaced him as the world's best player.

Kaka, who won both the Ballon d?Or and the FIFA World Player of the Year Awards in 2007, has tipped the Manchester United winger to replace him as the world?s best player after the Portuguese star helped his side to a Premier League and Champions League double.

Ronaldo enjoyed a remarkable season last time out scoring 42 goals in all competitions and picking up the PFA Player of the Year Award.

Now, the Brazilian Kaka has revealed he thinks Ronaldo will replace him as the world?s best player. Speaking to the media, he said: ?I believe that the number one candidate is still Cristiano Ronaldo, above all for what he did and won in the Champions League with Manchester United.?

Ronaldo scored the opening goal in the Champions League final against Chelsea and although the Blues equalised and the game ended level, Manchester United triumphed on penalties.

Whilst Ronaldo came third in the 2007 poll behind Kaka and Barcelona?s Lionel Messi, Kaka confessed that he doesn?t expect to top the lists again this year. AC Milan suffered a disappointing campaign in Serie A last season finishing fourth but a massive 36 points behind champions and city neighbours Inter.

Despite this, Kaka revealed he was looking forward to the new season and a chance to improve on last season?s poor league form.

?For me there's still half a season, so we'll see,? said Kaka before adding, ?It will be a different season with lots of new inspirations.?

Well said Kaka, it's true Cristiano deserves to win it! ;D if he doesn't win it this year then it's a travesty!  ::lol:: and i will personally start a riot outside FIFA/UEFA HQ! (the voting system would be flawed imo) he had one of the best seasons ever in football last season imo, if he doesn't win it this year after winning the CL and PL then he never will (because i doubt he will repeat the same season ever or better in terms of goals and achievements winning the double) which would be a total shame!

Nice of Kaka to say that, we'll see.  ;)
