Alright well, it was confirmed earlier that Rafa has left Liverpool by mutual consent, apparently with a £6 million payoff to soften the blow.
I don't know whether this is a good or bad move. I've got mixed feelings. Rafa had his positives and his negatives, as has been well documented. What I'm most concerned with is who will take over? We need to get someone established and successful in and fast, otherwise we could end up losing a hell of a lot of quality players because of the uncertainty and instability. We're already on rocky ground because of the finances and the fact that we're up for sale with no investors in the frame yet, never mind being managerless. So putting a quality manager in place within the next few weeks is essential, in my opinion. Having said that, we need someone who is passionate about the club and actually cares about the team. That's very important to us fans. King Kenny...consider it please

Anyway, with all of the ups and downs that we've had with him; the arguments he's been involved with; the upset he has at times caused; the mistakes he's made and the triumphs he has masterminded for us, the reign of Rafa Benitez has been one hell of ride

And I think after such a rubbish season we've lost sight a bit of the amazing times we've had with him in charge, which is sad. We can't deny that for the majority of the time he was in charge of the club we have enjoyed success and achieved quite a lot, all things considered. It's a shame Rafa couldn't end his tenure here on a high and that he's gone like this; amidst arguments, controversy and instability. But we'll never forget what he has done for us - led us to three prestigious finals in the Champions League and the FA Cup, helped us to come out victorious in two of those, led us to our highest league position in years and brought in some incredible players. He hasn't always made the right choices and we haven't always been happy with him, but we'll always be grateful for the success and celebration he has brought us during his reign. And we'll always remember that at times, he has been a downright mastermind and genius

Thanks for everything, Rafa. You're going to go down in Liverpool history as bit of a legend

We'll never forget Istanbul, and we'll never forget you. Good luck in all you do in the future. And please remember that you'll never walk alone.
