Im in complete agreement with Tonie and Majiek on Ramos. I think hes taken a lot of credit for other peoples work. Sevilla as a club has one of the best set ups in Europe. Juande got really lucky when he got that job, i dont mean to be flippant about Juande but in my opinion most coaches with xperience in Spainish football and a little tactical know how would of had success at the club. It was the dream job because eerything was in place with him, whereas it wasn't with Caparrós the club was still clicking and the players were maturing. Juandes timing was perfect
Im not saying hes a bad coach, his records in the Segunda with Rayo Vallecano and Logroñés were good but hes never really set La Liga a light prior to been given the dream job at Sevilla. His time at Espanyol was less than impressive same goes for his time at Malaga.
Spurs are getting a decent coach, nothing more, nothing less. A coach who has no experience in England and doesn't speak English fluent. I just think if they're expecting him to turn this around and turn them into a Sevilla then i think they need to brace themselves for a disapointment
I think Manola is a very good coach who has a good reputation but more importantly he has a brilliant club behind him, Sevilla might be effected by all this in the immanent future but i think in the long run they'll be fine, provided Juande doesn't take the core of this squad off to Spurs with him.
