It was against the chin of his standing leg. That is deep red.

I can't believe this! Everytime he gets on a roll something like this happens! I didn't find the game on TV, but I'm upset. Van Persie has no luck.

Arsene is probably fuming right now. Trying to reach Chiellini and haunt him down to the end of the world doing whatnot. Probaly not thanking him.
Dutch media state that he is out for months. Not just 6 weeks but real months. This can cost him the WC just because he got injured in some match against Italy nobody gives a damn about and because of a dickhead who should work in a butcher.

Allright.. I'll cut it now because I am getting more pissed and pissed as more as I curse that dirty Italian dude. Last summer was the last time I visited Italy.

Yep, it's really frustrating. It always happens during international break. They either become injured right before the break, during the trainings (Sneijder) or during the not so interesting match (Van Persie and Huntelaar, he was limping)

Don't expect him to come back before May. Season is over yet again for Robin.

Until May?
I read something about 2 or 3 months. Well I hope it'll be "just" 2 or 3 months then.

If everything will go to plan.. It can take 2 to 3 months ofcourse but Dutch media state that it will take months before he is fit enough to play. And when they say months, I don't think it's just mere two to three months.

Friendlies should be banned altogether. Nobody cares and it's a waste of time. Clubs can be seriously affected by this nonsense. Like now.

His revalidation is said to be taken months and he will be further investigated tomorrow.
God, I am so pissed off right now. If I ever cross paths with Chiellini he is a dead man walking that is what he is. One reason I hate the Italian NT; they are dirty and sneaky, cheating players. (No, I ain't cooling down here)
Italians rule ! Champions of the woooorld !

Did you watch the game Jenn? It sucked and his injury sucks even more. Dirk Kuyt was really annoyed with the way the Italians handled the game. And if Dirk finds it annoying, it says something.
I have come over my anger I had yesterday evening but this really sucks. The next time Oranje is facing Italy, Van Bommel should play a trick on Chiellini. A trick he does best; sneakily hurt someone and getting away with it.

Italians rule? Can you please say that somewhere else? Like the way they celebrated the goal. Which was quite obviously hands. In England that is regarded as cheating. In Italy that is seen as victory.

Offcourse I watch te game, but after 10 minutes I just watch because  'you have to watch a game like Holland - Italy'
I'm not really angry, but quite sad. I mean, why? It was just bad luck, and now everone said 'oh you see, he is always injured'.... That's really annoying...

He looks so sad. Such a shame, this was the season he was finally showing the world what he was made of. The poor guy has the potential to be the best in the world, he just keeps getting injured. He must be the unluckiest player in football.

Anyway, no point rushing him back. Arsenal will cope without him, or buy someone in January should we not, and its not fair to take risks with players injuries during a world cup year, cause despite me hating internationals with a passion, its important to the players!

Such bad timing though, Eduardo better be wrapped in cotton wool, marked as fragile and sent back to London, cause if  he gets injured Arsenal are striker-less :(

Yeah, it was more like that. It was a bad game anyway, Bert yet again fooled the whole freakin' country to let the unfit Huntelaar and VDV start before the ones who are fit. (Now I am glad because Ibi is still as fit as he was before and not bloody injured)

Yes, it is. He couldn't help this. That ugly Italian dude came in way too late. Every player in the world would have an injury on that very bad timed tackle. I see on the Gunners forum they are just as pissed off as I was and kind of still am. Friendlies should be banned. Nothing comes from it. Only injuries.

He has so much potentional. His play is out of this world. And this crap keeps on happening to him. And he doesn't deserve it.
