Yeah, it was more like that. It was a bad game anyway, Bert yet again fooled the whole freakin' country to let the unfit Huntelaar and VDV start before the ones who are fit. (Now I am glad because Ibi is still as fit as he was before and not bloody injured)

Yes, it is. He couldn't help this. That ugly Italian dude came in way too late. Every player in the world would have an injury on that very bad timed tackle. I see on the Gunners forum they are just as pissed off as I was and kind of still am. Friendlies should be banned. Nothing comes from it. Only injuries.

He has so much potentional. His play is out of this world. And this crap keeps on happening to him. And he doesn't deserve it.

Thank god, that someone thinks exactly the same!
He doesn't deserve it at all, I mean he got a lot of injuries last years, he scored 8 goals last 11 games, is there a reason why this have to stop??

I still don't get how he did get injured with that slide, i didn't thought it was hard though, but it seems it was... and he is only out for about two-three months, that's what i heard?...

It's the curse of Poque Jenn. But it sucks, it really does.
N. Falou, that is the minimum. Such an injury takes at least 3 months for the average person to recover from.

Good news considering his injury; His anklet is only torn partly. Not completely. Arsenal is expecting to miss him for 5-7 weeks. More news is to be expected later.

Partial rupture to his ankle ligaments that dont require surgery is great news for him, pretty much the best result under the circumstances!

He will be back in time for the Champions League knock out phase I would imagine, misses some crucial league games, but hey it could be alot worse!

It could be a lot worse indeed. It could have been torn completely and that would surely take at least 3 months.

Robin was on the phone yesterday evening at Studio Voetbal. He spoke about his injury. (He also celebrated the birthday of his son yesterday) but he had a scan in Amsterdam and today he is going for a second opinion to Rotterdam. And tomorrow he will fly to Yugoslavia to see a special doctor. He said it was kind of a vage treatment but it has helped with Danko Lazovic, Serbia- and PSV player, Lazovic had the diagnose of 6 weeks out of the game. He got to see her and was fit in two (!!) weeks. But she has this special treatment where she massages the injured body part (In this case the ankle ofcourse) with placenta. This treatment takes three days and he will get massaged three times a day. He already spoke to the medical staff of Arsenal and they are fine with it. If this doesn't help, it won't interfear with his normal revalidation.

It worked for Lazovic amazingly well. He was out for 6 weeks at least. He was back matchfit in two weeks. And like I said; this won't affect his revalidation in any way. Getting massaged has never done any bad to a person.
