Miranda Kerr (born February 20, 1983) is an Australian supermodel, who is currently based in New York City and has been modeling since the age of 13. She is best known for being one of the main "faces" of Maybelline cosmetics, and in 2006 she was chosen to represent Victoria's Secret. In May 2007, she is the model in the Victoria's Secret "Angels Wireless" commercial, wearing animated wings and reciting a limerick.
Early life and careerKerr was born on February 20, 1983 in Sydney, Australia,and raised near Brisbane, in the Australian rural town of Gunnedah. Her mother's name is Therese, and she has a younger brother named Matthew. She began modeling in 1997, at the age of 13, after winning the Dolly/Impulse Modeling Competition. Local media used her youth as an opportunity to debate about pedophilia and the acceptable age that girls should start modeling, but she kept on working non-stop, appearing often in magazines such as ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, and Vogue.

According to an Australian news site, friends of Kerr say that she lost some of her own million-dollar earnings due to Camilleri's bad financial advice throughout the 18 months that she dated him.
She is currently dating Australian musician and model Brent Tuhtan, who is in a band called Tamarama and recently scored an international Diesel jeans campaign.The couple live in Kerr's $1 million dollar New York City uptown apartment.
