?They?re both thrilled,? Johansson?s rep told People magazine, confirming that The Other Boleyn Girl actress and her Smokin? Aces beau were indeed engaged.
Reynolds, who?s currently filming the movie The Proposal in Boston with Sandra Bullock, reportedly popped the question to Johansson within the past few days - although the details have yet to be divulged.

And at this time, the couple have yet to set a wedding date - but insiders believe that it could come sooner than later.

Meanwhile, according to Marie Claire, ?Mutual friend of the pair, Hugh Jackman, admitted that he feels protective towards Johansson who he co-starred with in magician movie, The Prestige, but he gave Reynolds his blessing saying he is ?one of the funniest guys I?ve ever met...He?s phenomenal.??
