Opera Thread
« on: 19 September 2007, 06:41:31 »
Okay, this thread is dedicated to opera. I don't know if any of you listen or watch opera, but I do. You can discuss your favorite opera(s), recommend operas or whatnot. Talk about your favorite tenors, baritones, sopranos, mezzo-sopranos.

I'm not into oprea but lately I've been obsessed with Pavarotti. Like woah,I've been downloading songs of his...and I love him!
I really wanna get more into opera...so this is a great thread for a beginner like me lol  Beginner...that makes this sound like a course lol

I went to an opera once...a VERY low budget one...at school!
It totally sucked! All I remember is, I wasn't paying attention cos I was looking at my crush the whole time haha ::lol::

Aw, well, opera was something I wanted to go into. I was actually thinking about trying out for the opera chorus. It's fun to watch the rehearsals when they go through everything and sing all the arias and dress rehearsal is even more fun to watch. I like just sitting there and listening to them sing.

Backstage during the performance is one hectic place!!!! I work backstage with the costumes and wigs and you have to constantly get out of peoples way and change people every fast. But it's hella fun!!!

You should totally sneak backstage! Just say you're with the crew!! ;)
