just wondering who is everyone's favourite designer(s)?

i personally love john galliano, i think he's a genius and the things he can do with fabric are amazing, his clothes look like works of art, even if some of them are completely unwearable they're sooooooooo beautiful

other designers i love are chloe, alberta ferretti, chanel (of course), alexander mcqueen, nina ricci, giles deacon, burberry, armani, lacroix, vivienne westwood, jean paul gaultier, luella, marchesa, balenciaga, dolce & gabbana, marc jacobs, louis vuitton, oscar de la renta, marni.............. the list goes on....... and on........ and on........................................................

right now i've been vibin real well with Wenlan Chia's latest collection for Twinkle. i saw it during NYC SS08 and ahmahgawd it was so cute.
i also really like DVF's lastet collection. it was really spring beach wear, and uber cute. i can't pick a favourite designer because there are so many i like so i'll do this:

-evening look: anything  vintage balenciaga, bill blass' evening stuff, or marchesa or the lastest Ralph Lauren SS08 collection (cus it was really like a Kentucky Derby Socialite collection), dior, and AW05-FW07 lines of Costello Tagliapietra dresses, YSL
-day to day: DKNY for colder days, and matthew williamson for really colourful days and of course Twinkle, past collections of Anna Sui and some Rag & Bone clothing and Viktor & Rolf.
-tailoured look: nothing beats Chanel for that and some stuff from Marc Jacobs
- cute clothes: chloe, temperly and aquascutum (love their spring rtw line)
-sports wear: lacoste or band of outsiders

I like Gucci (especially the last Cruise Collection), Pucci, Temperley and Missoni. Also Chanel accesory but not so much the clothes. Versace also does beautiful clothing. I also admire Hedi Slimane's man collection.

i loveeeeeeeeee hedi too!
i miss him back at dior homme though. i'm not really liking Kris Van Assche for it. he made the dior homme collection really old looking, when hedi had made it a very youthful line.

of course i like Balenciaga, Cristóbal was the best Spanish designer of his time. but i like Vintage Balenciaga better though than today's line with Ghesquière. it was more innovated then.
