no it's deffo not referring to satan.. moreover,HIM is not a satanist band.. opposite, they are a gothic love band. i even read some of ville's speeches and he only believes in love but he thinks that "impossible love" is only in the movies and not in real life.

The name doesn't have a particular history. His Infernal Majesty was a totally different band. I think HIM derives from some death metal joke. And it was our protest to Haile Selassie's rastafarian religion, he used to be called His Imperial Majesty. But nowadays because of Linde's hair, we actually might be supporting him.but they started as "his infernal majesty"
its cool that turkey is becoming a rock/metal country. SA is becoming more rock as well, it makes me gahh. I've been hearing FOB A LOT on the radio these past few days. I hate walking into a mall and hearing them. I dont think I'll ever get used to it, but I guess thats just the way things are, whether I like it or not. Random but I cant wait for the new fob album, I miss the hyper leading up to IOH. I want that hype back, I loved all the mystery and suspense and Pete would write in his journal about the new songs him and Patrick wrote. And that made me so damn excited. gahh all my bands have released new albums, so I have zilch to look forward to. OMG! I actually bought Brand New's "the devil and God are raging inside me" omg omg omg *fangirl mode* Jesse will be uber proud of me. Ive been hunting for it for ageeessss and I finally found it. And the case is so cool, its so different. ok Im going so random here lol. Im back at uni, so disgsuting. lol @ the use of that word
i wish FOB was more known here
but i know that some people are fans of them. and i REEAAALLLY want them to play in a festival here ( it's called rock'n' coke) and i think they will because lots of big bands have played in the past
