::lol::

i'd love a ringtone like that but i can't leave my fresh prince of bel air song.

how do you guys feel about Across the Universe using the Beatles as their soundtrack? personally i despise that movie, and i hate how they ruined a few songs by the beatles, but some of the songs were actually nicely sung.

it's more like shit after shit. it's terrible. save your money and watch a better film. i'm kind of pissed that Paul McCartney was so inlove with utter trash. i bet if John Lennon was alive, he'd loathe this movie.

who's your favourite beatle?
JL for me, but before Yoko. i think i'd like paul before they got famous too. but post fame and post solo career with crappy songs like Ebony and Ivory, i dont like him very much

yeah that awfully catchy tune, was by him and stevie wonder.

no i get what you mean about Paul. i think that he's a good musician and lyricist but definitely nothing compared to lennon. it's like saying talent wise "christina aguilera is better than britney spears" which is true because christina sings better but britney has that image that sells.

Yay! a Beatles thread!!!

Im too obsessed with them. I even went to Liverpool and went on this Beatles tour...was the best day of my life.

They are easily the best band ever.
I cant choose a fave song but right now Im in love with "Im only sleeping"

This is a stupid question but how did they get the rights to the songs? cos "I am Sam" wanted to put Beatles songs on the soundtrack but they couldnt. And doesnt Paul have nothing to do with the rights cos Jacko has them.

My fave Beatle will always be John. I have a soft spot for all the guys but when I first got into them, I fell totally in love with John. His mind amazes me.
I agree with miah, I love pre-Yoko John. He was so sarcastic, sexy, hilarious and didn't give a fuck.

This pic is too cute, Ringo looks adorable.

Awwww, the Beatles! I adore them.

To be honest, I think everybody in Liverpool does, they're such an important part of Scouse heritage, you know? They really put Liverpool on the map, and their music was fantastic.

I really love From Me to You, She Loves You, Hard Day's Night, All You Need Is Love, Yellow Submarine, Eleanor Rigby and Hey Jude. BUT my all time favourites have to be the two ultimate classics, Yesterday and Let It Be. Just amazing songs.

I know ::lol::

To be honest though, I don't really do much Beatles stuff. I think when you live somewhere, you kind of take for granted what is on offer to do. I've done it all before, quite a few times, but that was a while ago. I think I'll make the effort to go do the whole Beatles tourist bit again.

Right, this sounds so sad, but when I'm shopping or just walking through town, I always make the effort to go past Ringo's statue and pat his head. Sad, I know, but it makes me happy for some weird reason. And nobody ever looks at me funny because people nod at it and stuff, and the tourists have their photos taken with it all the time. Its great! ::lol::
